The next logical step is that the creater of this Frankenstein will hope to control the monster on a lease and use it for his own nefarious activities to instill fear in his opponents. Gen Zia of Pakistan created the Islamic terrorists with the help of the ISI and today they call the shots not in Pakistan alone but in entire South Asia which even stretches to Chechnya and Xinjian in China.

Terrorist groups like the ULFA of Assam and other outfits have always received patronage from many State governments over the years because of which the Indian Army has repeatedly failed to wipe them out. Even the violent Naxalites have their allies within mainstream political parties who wish to take on others with the former's guns and fire power following the "enemy's enemy is a friend" policy. So why can't another political party help to create the Indian Mujahideen for its own political use all over India for political intimidation of opponents whom they wish to replace in the States that are ruled by the opposition? The caste system is not even sanctioned by their religion but has become a social aberration over centuries due to dominant vested interest groups.

If Islamic rule were to bring happiness and prosperity as claimed, then why are Pakistan and Bangladesh which were both a part of undivided India not so long ago in such shambles in every respect? Those Indian born Muslims I know who were once admirers of Pakistan had become disillusioned within 15 days of their short visit to that country for meeting their relatives. They had returned to become patriotic Indians whose convictions cannot be shaken by any mullah or religious rhetoric any more. We should sponsor such trips for the fanatics with wooly ideas to find out for themselves the realities of the matter across the border. One hint: How many Indians illegally infiltrate into Pakistan or Bangladesh and how many infiltrate into India on a daily basis? Already an estimated 3 crore Bangladeshis illegally live in India today. Why? Either because the Islamic identity is not automatically coterminous with an El Dorado based on which Pakistan was created or there is an ulterior motive to ultimately make Hindus a minority in their own land like in the violence prone Kashmir valley. And that’s the day the whole of the Indian subcontinent will become like Pakistan. Is that good or bad?

It will also permanently change the way the world uses oil based energy to something else which is drastically different and renewable in which Saudi Arabia will have no role to play.

As everyone knows, the oil bubble is bound to burst sooner than later, only the exact timing is not known. It is stupid and devious to blame India and China for the price rise due to their high consumption of late because this so-called demand has been factored in with the moving world production of oil. Russia today exports more oil than even Saudi which was always the highest exporter of oil. Another fall out of this for the West is that the Russians will once again challenge its hegemony with a well fortified oil bolstered economy. But the Bush lobby’s business interests far outstrip the USA’s benefit. Why is the present American oil lobby saying nothing of the turmoil they have deliberately created in Iraq which was one of the highest exporters of high grade oil and in defiance of the OPEC countries? By invading Iraq the Bush administration has only helped the various monarchies of the Gulf countries. Why are those in power in the West not putting an end to speculation in major commodities specially oil by banning futures trading? Are they not making a quick buck against the falling dollar or are they losing out with the oil price rise?

5. Actually the rich, fat and lazy Somnath has got very used to the perks of the office of the Speaker of Parliament which he does not desire to give up so fast. His protestations are all excuses.

He as Transport Minister has single-handedly made Calcutta the most polluted city with thousands of illegal autos that run on adulterated petrol instead of auto gas as in other metros and in defiance of court orders.

The myopic USA seems to have some vested interest in Islamic terror despite their feeble denials to the contrary as they feel that they are far away from Pakistan and therefore immune and this same toxic force can be used on other nations whom the US wishes to keep under pressure using the terrorists as their surrogates.

No civilian government has ever had any control on Pakistan's army or the ISI and it is no different now. The civilian govt. is only a showpiece needed to project a pseudo-democracy facade to the world under the dictates of the USA that needs to show that its favourite ally is a democratic state. The real ruler is Pakistan's military which none understands better than Pervez Musharraf who obstinately refused to take off his uniform as he would lose all control over the ISI and the Pakistani army who only owe allegiance to a man in uniform. To them the colour khaki is more important than the man inside it.

It is impossible to denigrate Hindu gods. Any god or goddess who can be made fun of is a living god or goddess and is resilient enough to even face ridicule and yet survive. Hinduism will survive all other faiths which will all vanish over time-if for nothing else but that it has 330 million gods and goddesses as compared to the others who have only one. That makes Hindus 330 million times more blessed and Lord Hanuman, who is known as Sankat Mochan, or the one who removes all crises from people's lives is also one of them. And who have made the entire community's identity inseparable from international terrorism? So if Hindus are persecuted anywhere what is the harm in seeking India's support which is essentially a Hindu country, de facto and de jure, irrespective of who says what to the contrary?

The Jews had faced the same problem and defenselessly died in millions in Hitler's Germany because at that time there was no country for the Jews for them to fall back upon and no other country came out in their open support. Why such criminals are not shot inside the jails under a false encounter if required is never understood. Athiti Deva Bhava? Later its Foreign Minister even escorted those Pakistani thugs to Kandahar for ensuring them a safe passage.The nation will never forget this for long as it was the last thing that was expected from a BJP or Parivar govt!

The tragedy that is eluding many of us is that:

2. The Left's anti-US, anti-Israel and pro-Iran stand is what they hope will please their Muslim vote bank. CITU's M.K.Pandhe had let out the cat from the bag when he said so in so many words a few days ago after which the refrain was taken up by another Muslim appeaser Mayavati.

3. With almost all Parties badly wanting the sobriquet of “Secular” which in India is the synonym for “Appeaser”, the Muslim vote if at all it operates as a monolith is bound to get fragmented with so many suitors out to placate them. The myth of “Secularism” was exploded by the BJP when Advani’s Ram Rath hit the road to put together its Hindu Unity agenda by leaving all the other pseudo-secular political parties to run after the so-called consolidated Muslim vote. But in India running after the Hindu vote as compared to running after the Muslim vote is unacceptable to the Left leaning media as well as the intelligentsia as any effort to unite the fragmented Hindus is dubbed “communal” whereas wooing the myth of an existing unified Muslim opinion is “secular” which requires no efforts to create it. The assumed Muslim unity is deemed to be a virtue but any effort to transmit this virtue to Hindus is a vice. So large is the space occupied in the Indian polity by this counterfeit thesis that today it has even made the BJP jittery as to what political line it should adopt not only for garnering a slice of the Muslim vote but possibly overhaul its media fashioned illiberal image for greater acceptance among the disjointed Hindus themselves.

4. The Communists are against the nuclear deal because it will harm China's interests vis-à-vis a resurgent India which is the last thing that these traitors want. One may ask why should an Indian political party volunteer to become a stooge of a foreign power. The answer possibly lies in the reality that they were never ever a pan Indian entity but managed to thrive parasitically by owing allegiance to the erstwhile Soviet Union that could and would regularly exert its agendas on India to keep it in its own orbit and outside the American one in the name of nonalignment. It was easily achieved then with crypto-Communists like Nehru and his ilk calling the shots. With the dismantling of the USSR the freed space was sought to be occupied by China whose superior might the Communists want us to meekly accept so that they may continue to occupy a disproportionately larger power wielding intellectual space than their actual numbers or relevance in India could ever justify.

5. Even though they are unabashed admirers of a resurgent China’s market driven economy, the Indian Communists do not wish us to pursue the same successful formula as it would make us China’s rival in the global power stakes. Any discounting of China’s influence within India and a possible western lean would mean even a faster rate of disappearance of the Left’s presence in India. A nightmare that they would want to avoid at any price.

6. They have invoked Nehru's effete foreign policies because it helped China by turning India into a soft State against all its enemies including Islamic Pakistan and Bangladesh.

7. For the Congress their chickens are now coming home to roost. No sympathies from any quarter are due to them. After all it is the Congress dominated UPA that has for the first time in history made the anti-India Communists the power behind the throne for over four years at the Centre.

All political or quasi political parties are liars as lying is their stock in trade. The voters in turn like to be taken for a ride and that is why no respectable or honest person is successful in politics.

Advani did the right thing by showing his guts to call Jinnah a secular person in Pakistan itself because Pakistan that accepts Jinnah as the father of the nation is anything but secular. Jinnah was more secular than Nehru and all Congressmen combined as they introduced "minorityism" into the Indian polity for garnering the block Muslim vote. Pakistan is Islamic and Islam and secularism are anathema to each other. For knowing the truth one has to read the Koran and the Hadiths for himself instead of believing what the media or politicians are dishing out as they are apologists for Islam.

The RSS fell into the trap laid by the raucous and predisposed media by blindly believing it when it critisised Advani for calling Jinnah secular. The Sangh should have supported his move for increasing the existing cleavage in Pakistani society where there are thousands of sensible and rational citizens still around who believe in Jinnah’s secular views. Advani should know as he is from Sindh where the Jiye Sindh movement was once quite rife.

It is an appeasing Gandhi who had laid the foundation stone of the two nation theory by his Khilafat movement after Kamal Attturk of Turkey had abolished the Caliphate in the 1920s. The RSS is known for its body building, drills and marches but not for its intellect, as free thinking acts as a barrier to regimentation that such organisations strongly inculcate. Resistance to change is highly ingrained in such a set up even though the RSS will swear by the Bhagvad Gita which exemplifies its core thesis that the only constant in the universe is constant change.

The truth is that ALL political parties including the Communists need money to meet their day to day requirements. An all India party like the Congress needs at least Rs.20 crores per day or Rs. 600 crores a month to meet the Party's expenses and maintain its cadres. Where do you think this money comes from? Every body knows that all Parties or politicians need money to keep their machinery running and fighting elections as we have a grossly defective political system in India. But being a hypocritical nation we don't forgive anyone who gets caught! The Commies have the best track record in this nefarious activity because being bit role players they proficiently use the grassroots cadres and the entire State machinery to do their dirty job and no big politician is ever caught with his hands in the cookie jar. They have a CITU or AITUC affiliated trade union for every activity that includes the State Police Department as well who are all very effectively used to fill the Party's coffers, conduct and rig elections for their benefit. Nehru (who by the way was also a Kaul)had shafted you Kashmiri Pundits from the very beginning in order to favour Sheikh Abdullah and his relatives to perpetually suck Kashmir and Kashmiris dry from every resource. Even today his debauched son can be seen entering Delhi's Five star hotels at night with young girls fit enough to be his granddaughters for a night of debauchery. Just file a PIL in order to get your stuff from the Government as the RTI Act 2005 is a toothless entity and have entries in the registers of five star deluxe hotels like Le Meridien scanned for the clinching details.

Don't waste your time with those RTI Act guys sitting in the JNU campus. They have been handpicked for the very purpose of helping the Government wriggle out of any sticky situation that may arise from any request for information made by any Indian citizen that includes lies and cover-ups as well. Just go for that Public Interest Litigation implicating the RTI Act guys for filibustering if not deliberately lying. Just do it NOW even if it makes that multi-millionaire Barrister and Marxist Speaker of the Parliament see Red as he is India’s greatest critic of Judicial Activism because he has a vested interest in rendering the judiciary inactive.

Then why should Muslims depend on the annual Haj subsidy funded by Kafirs as very little number of Muslims pay taxes in India? The religion commands that a pious Muslim should try and make the pilgrimage once in a life time with his own earnings. Otherwise, the Wahabi Saudis can easily fund their Haj or Umras from the Zakat (compulsory alms) funds from where they fund their fundamentalism through the Madrassahs. With the price of crude oil hitting $140 a barrel, can you imagine the money the oil rich Muslim countries must be making? Just envision the huge disposable Zakat funds at their disposal which they can easily and gladly give you?

If you are so self-reliant with your Arab funded activities, why are the salaries of your Imams paid for by the government of India funded by taxes collected from Kafirs? Why not build all those huge Haj houses with your self-reliant money and ask the government to divert the huge funds thus saved to some useful activities like building hospitals and health clinics or schools?

If you claim to be not insecure why not go for the Uniform Civil Code as the Indian Constitution demands? In your Personal Laws (Marriage/Talaq/Adoption etc.) it is conveniently the Shariat. When it comes to punishing a thief it is the Indian Penal Code. Why? Despite 57 Islamic countries, the OIC and over 1.3 billion Muslims walking on this Earth, how much longer are you going to convince yourselves that Islam is forever Khatre Mey Hai (In danger)? Will a Momin (faithful) answer these questions please for our enlightenment? Can we discuss these important issues a bit objectively so that many misunderstandings about each other can be removed and everyone benefits?

Enlightenment can come only through open discourse as otherwise ignorance remains to bug us forever which enables the politician and Mullah to fish in troubled waters. By the way, what is this Kashmiri protest about a land allotment for the Amarnath Yatri Niwas? You mean the Hindus who are a minority in Kashmir cannot have a single place for their pilgrimage as compared to the scores of Haj Houses already there and many under construction all over India for the Muslims who are the majority in the Kashmir valley? Obviously, what is sauce for the goose is not sauce for the gander as well in this country of secularists. Can anyone blame the mild Hindu of yore metamorphosing into a clone of the aggresive Muslim now?

A BRIDGE TOO FAR

The Lord surveyed the Ram Setu and said "Hanumant, how diligently and strenuously you and your vanara sena had built this bridge several centuries back. And they mistook the name of your forest living tribe to mean that you were all monkeys! It is remarkable that the bridge has withstood the ravages of the climatic and geographical changes over centuries. It is indeed an amazing feat especially considering the fact that a bridge over land at Hyderabad built by Gammon using latest technology collapsed the other day even before they could stick the posters on its pillars."

Hanuman with all humility said, "Jai Sri Ram, it is all because of your grace. We just scribbled your name on the bricks and threw them in the sea and they held. No steel from TISCO or cement from Ambuja or ACC was ever used. But Lord, why rake up the old issue now?"

Ram said, "Well, Hanumant, some people down there want to demolish the bridge and construct a canal. The contract involves lots of money because lots of money will be made. Those filthy rich politicians pressing for this will make money on demolition and make more money on construction.”

Hanuman humbly bowed down and said "Why not we go down and present our case, Lord?"

Ram said, "Times have changed since we were down there, Anjanaya. They will ask us to submit age proof and we don't have either a birth certificate or school leaving certificate. Or a ration card or voter's identity which is the most important document any Indian must own today. We had earlier traveled mainly on foot and some times in bullock carts and so we don't have a driving license either. As far as the address proof is concerned the fact that I was born in Ayodhya is itself under litigation for over half a century. Some Leftist historians have even claimed that I was born in Teheran. If I go in traditional attire with bow and arrow, the ordinary folks may recognize me but Arjun Singh may take me to be some tribal and, at the most, offer me a seat in civil engineering at IIT, Chennai under the reserved category. Also, a God cannot just walk in dressed in an Armani three-piece suit and announce his arrival. It would make even the devotees suspicious. So it is a dilemma so to say."

OILs NOT WELL

Just as we have the cartel called OPEC or Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, we need to have a cartel of the OPCC or the Organisation of Petroleum Consuming Countries. Thereafter, each country should take some measures to curb the consumption of Petrol and Diesel however small. It could be rationing a fixed quantity per vehicle on a per day basis, run vehicles on alternate days with odd and even registration number plates, encourage pool car systems, make ethanol dosage in fuels compulsory and hike it wherever it is already working. Don't believe in the US propaganda that this will lead to food shortage as America makes ethanol out of corn whilst mostly others make it out of sugarcane and sugar is not food but a sweetening agent.

Today's crisis had been coming for many years when experts have been warning us that whilst consumption of oil was going up the proportionate increase in production of oil was not taking place at all. With cheap oil our usage habits have become bad and wasteful which continues even now. Resistance to change is a global phenomenon but we have to bite the bullet or face worse days ahead. China being a totalitarian regime can start rationing immediately whilst India can go in for Demand Management which envisages release of Petrol and Diesel to petrol pumps as per their historical performance over the same period in the previous year. US citizens can go for voluntary cuts on their own extravagance. These measures of the OPCC nations will yield immediate short-term gains whilst they try to step up their own oil or alternative fuel production for gains over the long term.

Instead of OPEC making us dance as we are now doing soon the OPCC can make the OPEC dance for a change as they keep reminding us that the present spike in prices is solely demand driven mainly from China and India. It could even break OPEC’s fragile unity as they will scramble to increase sales in a falling market.

There are many hidden elements included in the price of Indian petroleum which are decades old. Like the Gulf surcharge which was included and never withdrawn during the Gulf War!! All taxes or levies and cost input elements are ad-valorem instead of based on specific amounts so that when one element goes up all the others also go up on the percentile basis. Another daylight robbery is the Kerosene scene. Out of the 10 million metric tones (mmt) yearly subsidized "poor mans'" fuel, 7 mmt is given to city based ration card holders. How many people do you personally know living in cities that use Kerosene for cooking or lighting purposes? They all use the highly subsidized LPG for cooking and electricity for lighting. Yet the entire quantity 7 mmt of Kerosene is lifted by PDS (public distribution system-ration shops) dealers every week/month. Where does it all go? It sells for around Rs. 9 per liter when it actually costs the country around Rs.37 to import, the balance being subsidized at our cost. It goes straight into the storage tanks of petrol pumps to mix with petrol/diesel that you and I buy for above Rs. 50 & 40 per liter. See the margin of profit? Is it all pocketed by the Oil company dealers with nothing going to those who have kept up this robbery through successive governments?

Go to any village and see at what price Kerosene sells. It is sold in the black market and in 650 ml bottles passed off as 1 liter if at all it is available after its diversion to the petrol pumps. Both Kerosene and LPG subsidy amounts are more than the price at which they are sold today. 60 percent of petrol is used by Govt. departments and their families. "Free" electricity for "poor" farmers is meant for rich MPs and Ministers or the Kulak lobby who have also kept agriculture income out of the purview of income tax for their sole benefit. How many "poor" farmers can afford to buy deep tube wells or pump sets that are used for irrigating large tracts of land? The same lobby benefits from the fertilizer subsidy also. Get the picture? But every political party promises this wasteful expenditure because the moment any party in power that does not implement this, all the others in the opposition begin to criticize this move as “anti-farmer” which also gets a lot of free media attention and paints a negative picture of that party and turns them into villains for being against the “poor farmer” which Deve Gowda keeps calling himself!
