What an excellent article “The knives are out in the BJP” in Rediff on 11th June 2009 which should be the Magna Carta of the BJP by Kanchan Gupta who is a true saffronite unlike Advani's opportunistic brigade. We all know that Sudheendra Kulkarni used to write for that scandal sheet BLITZ in which he used to abuse the BJS/BJP every week. He is a Commie Trojan horse imported into BJP to destroy it from within by overhauling LKA's image from Iron Man to a pseudo-secular one to placate the pseudo-secular NDA allies so that they readily endorse his bid for PMship. Result is a disaster for the Party for falling between 2 stools due to poor credibility of being neither fish nor fowl. Hasn't LKA heard of the Biblical saying "Unto thy own self be true”? As Hindutvadis Advani and his spin doctors ought to have held their belief in the Bhagavad Gita 3: 35 that says, “It is far better to discharge one's prescribed duties, even though they may be faultily, than another's duties. Destruction in the course of performing one's own duty is better than engaging in another's duties, for to follow another's path is dangerous.” Trying to fool BJP sympathisers and foisting himself as future PM above all other considerations including the BJP’s future.
Despite calling Manmohan Singh a weak PM Advani has always displayed acute signs of insecurity as a person who has surrounded himself with ineffective and lazy sycophants like Naidu,Vasundhara Raje(sole architect of the Rajasthan defeat), Jaitly and Swaraj (ex-Haryana Vikas Party) and imposing them on the Party despite their ineffectiveness.
LKA had gradually become a LIABILITY after his Rath Yatra was over as his infirmities, insecurity being one of them, floated to the surface once in power. After the initial spurt in its popularity due to its being a newborn Party under LKA, fortunes of the BJP have been steadily declining as he had been replacing its old and trusted leadership with his toadies all over India as brilliantly brought out by Kanchan Gupta, a dedicated admirer of the saffron cause in his Rediff article of 11th June 2009.
Advani has now outlived his role after he had taken the BJP to new heights post the Babri Masjid episode and he should now gracefully retire. He has learnt nothing from the recent drubbing at the hustings as he has immediately appointed all his lackeys who are responsible for the latest thrashing to crucial posts instead of holding them accountable in order to continue to remote control the Party in the event of his having to step down.
He and his coterie have run out of contemporary ideas for rejuvenating the Party as they could not think beyond their almost desperate single point agenda of seeing him as the next PM for their own aggrandizement- no thoughts for the Party or the nation. Well, the voters saw through the charade and thought differently as they did not consider Advani to be PM material in whom they could repose their trust.
Let the present discord culminate into a final showdown between the power brokers browsing their time in air conditioned rooms and genuine workers/leaders with grassroots connection who should now be allowed to take charge of the Party replacing LKA and his lackeys. To avoid further mischief and steady decline of the Party, LKA and his useless cohorts must immediately be flushed out from the central committee down to the district levels of the country. Let the true leadership emerge from the ranks and enough of LKA's dirty maneuverings of imposing his selections onto hapless district, State and national units.
LKA's days are over and he must gracefully exit voluntarily without his parting kick of causing further permanent damage to BJP by placing his minions in key positions in the Party so that he can continue to rule by remote control in order to prove his indispensability.
If BJP has to split so be it instead of disintegrating under the weight of its Advani imposed spurious leaders who only care about their own selfish interests using the BJP as their spring board for fulfilling private ambitions.
The whole of existence is dynamic and the only constant is change. Advani and his satraps have had their place in the sun as long as they were contributing to the nation and Party’s health. Having run out of ideas they should now gracefully bow out and save the Party further erosion of its image of being a Party with a difference and converting it into a Party full of differences instead.

All public displays of one's religion should be banned as the relation between a man and his God is a private one. By making it a public one we create divisions in society which is actually politics disguised as religion where so-called religious leaders in a nexus with professional politicians share the spoils of vote-banks that assures them (or they hope so)of block votes of a particular community or caste whose leaders exhort them to vote in line with the leaders' choice and gain. NO ALTERNATIVE TO THE NDA FOR INDIA.
It is an accepted fact that any combination that includes the Left will do the country immense harm due to their outdated economic outlook. Of the three prominent groups now in the fray, the UPA, NDA and Third Front (that includes the Left) at least the urban educated/knowledgeable voter should not vote for any combination that includes the Left as it would be an invitation to further disaster, especially during the present economic meltdown. This is being highlighted as in the rural areas caste will play a dominant role irrespective of the consequences of a fractured mandate.
Indian economy needs all it can to revive and at the earliest. This will not be possible if the Left has any say in governance in any combine. It is given that the BJP & Congress will never combine & the same with Left & BJP. But there is no bar for the Congress to join hands with the Third Front that includes the Left or the Left alone once again for sharing power as they cannot join BJP if the magical number of 272 is to be arrived at. STOP LIVING IN PAST GLORIES.
A typical Bong mindset always harps on Bengal's past greatness. Today's hero is Saurav Ganguli a mere over the hill cricketer. There is no one else. Most IAS and IPS officers like Industrialists in West Bengal are non-Bengalis even as the State has the highest number of unemployed as well trade unions.
Most of the serious students take up higher studies in other States of India in order to get out the Bong State. All those who can do so seek medical treatment outside the State even though traditionally the Bengalis once produced the best doctors in the entire country. Over 47000 industries have closed since the Red Flag bearers came to power 32 years ago. They have only taught the Bongs to be undisciplined in every walk of life. This has made Calcutta the capital the most chaotic and polluted city in India as there is no control but ample encouragement to break all traffic and environmental rules. It needs private citizens to file cases in courts to seek redress to save the city from its politicians and their lumpen cadres. All admirers of the Left should get degrees in Marxist economics and even PhDs on the subject and then see if they can get a job anywhere including “Communist” China. That's how redundant the Left has become today. It exists mainly because due to the wrong education policies of the Congress who have always appointed Left oriented Education Ministers to set the agenda from the Center which has led the Left to enjoy a huge intellectual space in India which is far beyond its size, utility and relevance. Sadly, the main opposition led by an irrational banshee is following the Left’s discarded practices.
Some of the most glaring contributions of our venerable Left to India’s political heritage are: Calling Netaji Subhas Bose a quisling and Tojo's dog, the revered Ramkrishna Paramhansa a schizophrenic, Swami Vivkananda things unprintable, Rishi Bankim Chandra communal and they even refused to join Gandhi's Quit India movement stating that "Ye Azadi Joota Hai" (“This independence is a sham”) after having sided with the British most blatantly through the jugglery of Marxist dialectics. They directly encouraged the formation of Pakistan by supporting Jinnah's two nation theory, sided with China in the 1962 war after accusing India as the aggressor which attacked China first even though their beloved Left leaning J.L. Nehru was the Prime Minister then. The list can go on and on but space constraints limit the exercise to catalog even the most anti-national acts of the discredited Left which has left an overwhelmingly large Indian population totally unimpressed with their presence despite India being a poor country and the Left always harping that they are champions of India's "have-nots."
Any government that is formed at the center with the fossilized Left's support is a sheer formula for disaster for the future of India in all respects especially on the economic front. Only a combine that does not take the Left’s help in forming the next government can take India forward or else it will be a repeat of our current history which mercifully and hopefully playing itself out.

PAYING A HEAVY PRICE FOR "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS".
Political "correctness" usually means hiding the bitter truth from coming out. We have been having this camouflaging activity for a long time and it is because of this that the real issues get swept under the carpet where they keep festering till after sometime the pent up emotions erupt again. All civilised societies believe in being "historically correct" rather than "politically correct" as the very fact that "correctness" needs no qualification like "politically" or any other adjective as truth can and always stands alone. Truth needs no props to hold it up at any time under any circumstances. Let us learn to be a more courageous and mature society and face the truth instead of being hypocritical. It is only through healthy dialogue, debate and open discussions that we can arrive at the root of all problems, not by covering them up under the ineffective doctrine of keeping things covered in order to avoid "hurting the sentiments" of a small section of the people who being used to this pampering will never change and integrate with the rest of India but continue to emotionally blackmail the rest of Indian society to their notional advantage of separateness which will ultimately not benefit them or society at large as falsehood has never provided any lasting solutions. Not integrating with the rest of the world has led to such entities today like Pakistan becoming the world's most dangerous place not only for Indian and humanity but for the Pakistanis themselves.

IT IS EITHER NDA OR TOTAL CHAOS FOR INDIA.
In a daily changing scenario in which the UPA is breaking up into pieces and with the Third (A)ffront having as many PMship claimants as number of constituents, how does it matter what someone like Sushma Swaraj is saying or not saying? She is not an Oracle of Delphi nor is she Bhrigu Muni the best ever astrologer. She was foolishly trying to be too clever in trying to keep the BJP's doors open to more potential allies in the event her Party emerges the largest single party after May 16 not realizing that she has put her foot in her mouth.
Everyone knows that all combines will be up for sale to the highest bidder from any Party which is the most desperate to make their leader the next PM. The real problem will start if the Third (A)ffront does better than expected as every constituent has a PM aspirant who will drive almost impossibly hard bargains for their support, prime most being the PM's post. This will send the country into unprecedented chaos which will worsen the present economic turmoil, worsening GDP and also the terrorism related issues from across Pakistan. This will make India lose all the momentum it has over enemies like Pakistan and China and downgrade our prestige in the international fora. BJP's POLITICAL OPPONENTS & MEDIA ARE NOT CONVINCING VOTERS.
BJP has to be now behind Varun solidly like the Rock of Gibraltar without faltering on the hopes of getting those votes which it will NEVER get. But by standing in support of young Varun the Party will give out a signal that it does not betray any of its members no matter what its opponents in the political arena or the media may say against it. In fact the more these disruptive elements bay for Varun's blood the more positive publicity the Party and Varun will get with the voters, not in Pilibhit alone but also elsewhere. Plus the sympathy for the underdog has now taken over.
In this lackluster election campaign the BJP had no issue to enthuse the voters with all over India in general and UP in particular till Varun's illogical incarceration. The fallout in BJP's favour in whole of UP the largest contributor to Lok Sabha seats has been electrifying. The many "secular" parties will split their votes in multicornered fights against each other as also Muslim votes after which all of them are running blindly.
This is the time for the BJP to consolidate its position by at least ensuring their own voters remain with them on voting day without bothering about those votes which would NEVER be theirs which will get divided to its advantage. BJP must ignore the “good advises” of the anti-BJP media who are out to distract it on behalf of the Congress Party. The Party should avoid petty egoistic hara-kiri like behaviour of the Arun Jaitly vs Rajnath Singh fights as anyone who thinks he is bigger than the Party like Kalyan Singh did is bad for the Party and should leave it and form his own outfit. Giving into blackmail never pays. The line taken by L.K. Advani that "we should exercise restraint, but we are with Varun" is the correct stance as BJP is not a regional party like Shiv Sena or MNS who can behave irresponsibly by fanning local emotions. The BJP is a pan-Indian Party that will need to show maturity as India grows in importance on world scene.

WHAT ABOUT DUPLICITY OF TV CHANNELS?
The Indian media which has become a law unto themselves could sooner demand that the fanatical Shahi Imams Syed Abdullah Bukhari be made the President of India and his son Ahmed be made the next Prime Minister. So what if they have over a dozen each of non-bailable offenses for sedition and contempt of court cases against each of them which no government dared to serve on them so far. After all, they have a much cleaner image than multiple murderers like Union Minister Taslimuddin of the RJD or Shahabuddin of RJD who is a permanent resident of Siwan jail and mentor of Lalu Yadav who wants to give him a ticket for this Lok Sabha election. Of course, there are many more such worthy candidates to choose from starting from Kerala (Madani), Tamil Nadu, Kashmir (Sajjad Lone), UP and Bihar with well established track records. Difficult choice for these guys, if you know what I mean. But such news won't.
What will make it as news are only anti-BJP and anti-Hindu activities that make it to our TV channels these days. In a way it is good for both the BJP and the Hindus as it will ensure that they are kept alert, vibrant and improve every day whereas the others will be lulled into sleep of complacence and end up diseased and fall by the wayside. That is why despite thousands of years of its existence Hinduism is still alive and relevant even in the 21 st Century as it keeps pace with the current times effortlessly which others fail to do or go into oblivion due to their inbuilt rigidities especially if they are revealed religions. The inability to cope with the change in a modern and ever changing world is another drawback they face. In fact, the central message of the Gita is that "change is the only constant." The proof lies in Hinduism’s ability to discard centuries old redundant practices and adopt new ones through a constant churning through debate and inquiry without the fear of irrelevance that adversely affect those who are strictly code bound to adhere to unchanging rules fixed centuries ago and out of sync with today’s realities.
We must understand that the author of a piece of pure fiction is none but Abdul Nasser Madani of the People's Democratic Party of Kerala which many consider to be a terrorist organisation. ALL EXCLUSIVIST DOCTRINES ARE SAME AS EACH OTHER
Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil a top Church official from India has described the CPI-M as a 'threat' to democracy and warned that India will suffer the same fate as China did under Mao Zedong in his book Straight From Heart. The influential Cardinal, known for his critical views even on the church establishment, says, 'The Marxist fundamentalism is a greater threat than the religious fundamentalism of the BJP. The Navy, the Army and the Air Force will come under their complete control. We can reasonably expect that what happened in China under Mao will happen in India under their rule.'
Though he is 100% correct about Marxists yet he is wrong about the Catholics and the Sangh Parivar. Any one who believes in converting others to his faith is NOT a believer in pluralism as it is fundamentally contradictory and against it. Thanks to Christianity both Roman and Greek cultures have vanished just as the indigenous cultures of the original peoples (Native Indians) of South and North America, aborigines of Australia and large tracts of tribal Africa etc.
The latest target as spelt out by the previous Pope John Paul II is Asia and India for the latest gathering of “Harvest of Souls” for Christianity. The Sangh Parivar believes that every religion is a path to the same God (Ekam Sat Vipra Vahuda Vadanti) as Hindus have historically shown undiluted tolerance to Jews, Parsis, Christians and Muslims for centuries but have recently become wary of certain conversion and infiltration prone groups who are showing definite signs of altering the faith based demographics of India by taking advantage of this tolerance with the direct connivance of vote seeking politicians who couldn't care less about the cultural future of India.
The paranoid Marxists are a different breed of anti-nationals who do not care about Indian culture as they claim to believe in the Communist International or a culture of the nowhere. Mao Zedong had destroyed the ancient culture of China and his legatees are now decimating the unique culture of Tibet, an independent country that an ever expansionist China had forcefully taken over. Hitler was a one man show as Nazism died with him. But Communism /Marxism have not died with Lenin, Stalin or Mao as the Indian Marxists still publicly swear by them and show all the characteristics of these Godless dictators.

FOOLING THE PEOPLE IS SO EASY THAT IT GOES ON INDEFINITELY
There is nothing new in the Kerala Church dabbling in politics as it is as old as the hills of Munnar. Priests have been regularly standing for elections with tickets from parties who call themselves "secular" by the single virtue of abusing Hindus alone. All of us know that Indian secularism is fully dependent on Hindus for its survival as there is nothing predatory about its tenets for increasing the number of believers. Even though Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of Hindu majority India only 60 years back, secularism became the first casualty the moment they became Muslim majority nations.
Kashmir Valley though in India was ethnically cleansed of all Pandits who are the original settlers before Aurangzeb decided to change things around. Today, due to the preponderance of those to whom secularism is anathema and despite being a part of India, secularism is a decisive casualty in the Kashmir Valley similar to Pakistan. How can there be a minority community in a secular country where all citizens are equal in the eyes of the law? We are all Indians. Only in a theocratic state can there be minorities deserving special considerations. Is this a back door admission of India being a Hindu rashtra (nation) by secularists to indulge in secular games?
A UN Charter states that only when a community consists of less than 10 % of the country’s population can it be termed minority. Yet we keep avoiding this internationally accepted doctrine to keep alive the spurious concept of sham secularism in India for vote bank consideration.
All our major concepts of governance are taken from the British including our antiquated laws. Even though England is not admitted to be a theocratic state, yet the King or Queen is the protector of the Church. When London based author Salman Rushdie was sought to be punished under English laws of blasphemy for his book "Satanic Verses" by his coreligionists, the British govt. stated that the blasphemy laws applied only to those who were denigrating Christianity not Islam. Salman instead was for years given state protection at great cost to the exchequer as he was a minority after Ayatollah Khomeini's death edict or fatwa.
Without retaining the flavour of the monarch being the protector of the leading faith as in Britain, we in India decided to graft the balance portion of the doctrine by inserting the word "secularism" into our Constitution by an amendment by Indira Gandhi to promote minorityism as a state policy thus raising the question whether India was "secular" before this amendment? Physical removal of the yoke of colonisation from a country is easier than its removal from the mind. Whilst Mahatma Gandhi and his associates could achieve the former in their lifetimes, sadly their Party failed to not only remove it from our minds but further ingrained in order to make sham secularism the Magna Carta of Indian politics.

YEH HAI RIGHT CHOICE BABY.
Retaining Varun is the right choice for both tactical as well as strategic reasons. Otherwise the traditional voters of the BJP would have deserted it without those now against it who would never have voted for it. Pilibhit will go to BJP this time.
But if Varun is withdrawn, not only Pilibhit will go but it will show the BJP in bad light for being a Party that lets its own candidates down which will give a handle to its opponents to create dissensions in BJP and NDA. Nor will the BJP's opponents or NDTV and CNN-IBN call it a "secular" Party and give it any positive coverage.
BUT VARUN MUST BE WARNED THAT HE MUST NEVER INDULGE IN ANY HATE SPEECHES AS A MATTER OF DECENCY AND PROPRIETY APART FROM FACING A HOSTILE GOVT.AND CEC.
Whether one accepts it or not, there are thousands of Muslims who vote for the BJP as they sincerely believe that they are not used as a vote bank only by it as the sham secular Parties have been doing for decades. After the 6 years of BJP rule at the Centre they have first hand experience that it is not an oppressive Party as alleged unlike the pseudo-secular parties who use them for electoral gains and then cast them aside for the next 5 years.
The community has also learnt not to listen to their so-called religious leaders on whom to vote for and they also vote for local bread and butter issues which makes them vote differently. LALU THE CHALU
Lalu's sole intention of joining the UPA and constantly flattering Sonia Gandhi was to ensure that the Fodder Scam and other scams that he and his wife are involved in remained under wraps. He has been eminently successful in fooling the Congress which were dependent on RJD MPs for survival in the last 5 years as the Fodder Scam probe has remained in limbo due to Sonia's instructions.
Lalu hopes that with his tying up for vote consolidation with Ram Vilas (whom Rabri, Lalu's wife has been calling "vote katta" or a splitter of votes) will give him better dividends in terms of more MPs in Parliament than a tie-up with a demoralized Congress which is virtually non-existent in Bihar. It also gives a more united opposition to the NDA by ensuring avoiding a split in the anti-NDA votes. This in turn could give both Lalu and Paswan better bargaining power in the next Lok Sabha which is likely to be more fractured than the previous one, whether it is with the UPA or the Third Front.
Lalu is also daydreaming on the chance to wangle a better ministry next time based on the RJD's numbers and the extent of the fractured mandate the next elections ultimately throws up.
Lalu the chalu (cunning) is aware that as the Congress and the BJP have become too fat and lazy to work at the grassroots levels in the States now after having tasting power at the Centre, it could be the turn of the State based regional parties who have been concentrating in their own States for their survival to perform better than the two large all India parties. With the fratricidal battles raging within the CPI(M) and the other Left parties in Kerala and West Bengal, where the bitter rivals from the opposition-the Trinamool and Congress have made an pre -election alliance, Lalu knows that the Left/CPI(M) will fare much worse than they had done in the past. This will further increase the bargaining power of local satraps like Lalu, Paswan, Mayavati, Mamata Banerjee, Mulayam Singh et all in the next Lok Sabha which also gives them a chance to forge the Third Front leaving the subject of who will be the Prime Minister in this mish-mash is still wide open.

DIFFERENT LAWS FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE
There are confirmed thugs, rapists and murderers in all political parties mostly in UP and Bihar who have even become Ministers. One such rogue even publicly offered Rs. 50 crores to anyone who would kill the Danish cartoonist who had drawn a likeness of Muhammad and nothing was done about it by those who are now baying for Varun's blood in order to solidify their pseudo-secular visage that does not wash with all Indians. But how and why this palpable discrimination on the face of so much evidence to the contrary? What is the law doing about it? What is Varun's fault? That he has abused another community? Yet all of us who have heard the so-called CD over the anti-BJP English TV channels, which Varun claims has been doctored, not even ONCE did he mention any community or their religion by name. Why is the media looking for a black cat in a dark room which is not there? Hatred or fear of the BJP? The Party has ruled over India for six years. Has it set the Himalayas on fire?
There are over a dozen FIRs for serious non-bailable sedition and contempt of court charges against the father and son duo of Imams Syed Abdullah and Ahmed Bukharis of Delhi's Jama Masjid who are moving around with full freedom without any anticipatory bail since many years. Is it because they had threatened that the whole country would be set on fire if anyone touches them? Has Varun done anything worse than them? All those against Varun including the English TV channels may kindly reply why the Bukharis have not been arrested even once. What is sauce for the goose ought to be sauce for the gander as well? But that is not the way the cookie crumbles in India where a large chunk of the so-called majority is smug in its self-destruct mode who justify that punitive action is reserved for hate speech by the majority community alone and not for the second majority. But does that mean that those who are not of the same mould should pack up their tents and jump into the Indian Ocean?

With this single action he has been pitch forked into the centre stage from relative obscurity which was his stock even in the first week of this March.
The Congress had been rooting for “youth” in order to project the second and third generation members of Congressmen with Rahul Gandhi, a hybrid species as compared to Varun, being the prime contender and also to counter L.K. Advani’s 80 years. Varun is nearly ten years younger than his elder cousin who is unofficially called Yuvraj in Sonia’s kitchen cabinet. Only the election results will prove whether Varun wins or loses. But one thing is undisputed that a can of worms has been opened up and Varun has unveiled a larger canvass which has even driven the opportunist BJP on its back foot as they have a single agenda of seeing Advani as the next PM-come what may. That’s not the way elections are won.

AN OPEN LETTER TO ALL SECULARISTS.
The answer to your moribund question is how can something die when it was still born in the first place? First, the country is partitioned through pressure exerted by the so-called minority who should be called the "second majority" as they are far above the mandatory 10 % of the Indian population. This is a unique happening as nowhere else in the world's history has the minority been able the arm twist the majority to cede huge tracts of its territory due to communal and religious incompatibility professed by the second majority. Like a festering wound this is what has laid the foundation stone of India's pseudo-secularism which is passed off as genuine secularism by the rootless Left leaning liberals who keep reminding us that the Indian state is supposed to be colour blind. Add to that the Central Budget assisted blatant 50 % subsidy to Muslims for annual Haj and pilgrimage tax on Hindus visiting the Amarnath caves or anywhere else.
Muslims can take four wives under a warped legal system and a Kashmiri woman loses her Kashmiri citizenship (sic) if she marries an Indian from another state. But if a Pakistani woman marries a Kashmiri male she becomes an Indian citizen who can own land in J&K which no other Indian citizen can do. What is the message? That Article 370 underscores the fact that J&K is not yet fully integrated into the Indian Union like the other states!
The Muslims as minorities have many rights in India whereas the Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley (Wadi) have been rendered homeless in their own country having been a minority in J&K! Obviously, the minority status is selectively applied in India to the advantage of Muslim only.
Narendra Modi is Lucifer if less than a thousand Muslims die in Gujarat in retaliation to Godhra riots started by the Muslims first but Rajiv Gandhi deserves all our sympathies having lost his mother even if he had commissioned through his goons the pogrom against Sikhs which saw 3000 of them being set on fire on the streets of Delhi. Heads I win and tails I lose in favour of Muslims- EVERY TIME- that includes not touching the father son duo of Imam Bukharis of Jama Masjid despite over 10 arrest warrants each for sedition and contempt of court charges against them! And you are nosing around for a whiff of genuine secularism in an environment reeking of a fetid stink of sham secularism?
When one starts from an erroneous point in a journey or road map he is hardly expected to reach the correct destination unless there is a course correction along the way after the blinkers have fortuitously fallen off. Otherwise, one will fail every time. That is what the last more than 60 years has taught us that despite this much hyped Indian brand of secularism things are as bad as they were in 1947 on the Hindu Muslim question-the only deleterious change being that the Muslims in India today far outnumber their coreligionists across the border. Not a sign that they are a persecuted race by any stretch of imagination and more so if you consider that more than 20 million (and counting) Bangladeshi infiltrators-not refugees-have brazenly crossed over to settle down in India replicating Hitler's doctrine of Lebensraum adding to our burden.
India's family planning slogan of "Hum Do Hamare Do" has been drowned out by the more potent "Lekin Bangladesh se aney do" in both word and deed. The unique IMDT Act that is applicable only in Assam the most devastated state through relentless influx from across the porous border put the onus of proving an infiltrator to be so on the accuser and not the intruder. The person who single-handedly contributed to this unpardonable crime of inundating the entire Northeast then called Assam with a sea of rejected humanity from East Pakistan was later made the President of India who later repaid with gratitude the favour to Indira Gandhi by rubber stamping her demand for clamping the Emergency in 1975. It is worth recalling once more that it was the Muslims themselves who had wanted a separate country for themselves to be carved out of India the very country where they were now sneaking in by droves for permanent residence.
One has to have an independent and relentlessly inquiring mind shorn of any mentoring by those regurgitating discarded and spurious theories of a bygone era no matter how iconic they may appear to us or well intentioned and rational sounding they may be in their ignorance. One has to cut a lonely furrow even inviting ridicule or even persecution if required in order to arrive at the truth when all past theories and pious intentions have miserably failed. History has relentlessly taught us that the majority is rarely ever right and that only the seers were on course even though they had to face persecution during their contemporary times. History is replete with "rowing against the current" characters like Galileo, Copernicus or Socrates who were ahead of their times.
Recently, through an open letter the VHP has really caught the Indian Mullahs on the wrong foot and the cat is now out of the bag when it asked them to openly declare that they put the country above all else and that Hindus were not Kafirs. There is an identical reply from each of the recipient Mullahs which means they had panicked sensing a trap and had consulted each other before reacting to VHP's letter publicly. How can they say that the idol worshiper is not a kafir? How can they deny that the world is divided into Darul Islam & Darul Harab? We know that this very secularism that many of us blandly swear by was the first casualty when Pakistan was created as a Muslim El Dorado where Hindus were in insignificant numbers. No change even in Bangladesh when it was delivered with India playing the midwife. No different in the Indian Kashmir Valley where Muslims enjoy a brute majority that is even more glaring than Pakistan or Bangladesh ever since it had been ethnically cleansed after the Pandits had been chased out from there or killed.
Therefore, how can our Muslims declare that Ram and Rahim are one? Ishwar and Allah is tero naam? How can they glorify India when they refuse to sing Bande Mataram our national song? How can they deny by issuing a Fatwa that what the militants are doing are not as per their religion even though the choice exists to avoid following such tenets as done by the moderate majority?
Because if they follow the VHP's suggestions they will become redundant and useless to pseudo-secular political parties who depend on them to divert the block votes of the “aggrieved” faithful into the ballot boxes in their favour? Being a male dominated faith where women have a marginal role, the Taliban are admired by many in India even if they do not openly admit it. They know it well that if you have government support then the minority can also behave like the majority and this gives them the aggressiveness being shown all the time where an appeasing government is in power. Since Gujarat was an exception to this rule many are against an electorally (and democratically) successful Narendra Modi, mostly the pseudo-Hindus who march to an alien drum beat. The real danger to the millennium old unbroken idea of India lies lurking within sporadic fanatical movements at times bubbling to the surface within the larger Hindu psyche that wishes to replicate the clout of the mollycoddled Mullahs having government and political patronage for wielding power unto themselves by an identical and time tested route. And for that eventual catastrophe it will be our pseudo-secular and left leaning liberals who will be solely to blame.
Muslims can take four wives under a warped legal system and a Kashmiri woman loses her Kashmiri citizenship (sic) if she marries an Indian from another state. But if a Pakistani woman marries a Kashmiri male she becomes an Indian citizen who can own land in J&K which no other Indian citizen can do. What is the message? That Article 370 underscores the fact that J&K is not yet fully integrated into the Indian Union like the other states!
The Muslims as minorities have many rights in India whereas the Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley (Wadi) have been rendered homeless in their own country having been a minority in J&K! Obviously, the minority status is selectively applied in India to the advantage of Muslim only.

THIS HAPPENS WHEN LUNATICS RUN THE ASYLUM THEMSELVES.
The Taliban has agreed for peace and a ceasfire from hostilities in the SWAT regiion of Pakistan we are told. If you believe these loonies you will believe anything. If they rule SWAT Valley it will be like a lunatic asylum being run by the lunatics themselves. It had happened earlier in Afghanistan when the Taliban had over run the country before Afghan President Hamid Karzai took over. When the Pakistani government lies through its teeth from morning till night, how can anyone believe in these mercenaries of war? How can they be relevant in the 21st Century with 7th Century beliefs and priorities? The universe is constantly changing and moving forward. How can one turn the clock back or even dream of doing so unless one is mad?
The Taliban are merely regrouping and replenishing their arms and ammunition for their next assault while increasing their numbers through fresh recruits and demanding release of their members in custody. There are several groups of Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan some who are at loggerheads with each other. It has all got to do with power and money specially opium money that Dawood Ibrahim gets for them through his international marketing network with a sizable cut going to members of the Pakistani government, its Army and its offspring the ISI.
Religion is merely eyewash to fool the gullible who are compelled through the fear of death to be blind followers. A lot of oil money also flows in from Saudi Arabia and other oil rich countries who wish to see their brand of faith spreading to Asia and beyond that allow these lunatics to remain active and healthy. The day the money dries up all these guys will become clean shaven and look for proper jobs for survival and also send their women out to work to fetch money for their subsistence.

THE BJP IS ALWAYS WRONG BUT THE OTHERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT
The English media has become truly biased against the BJP even beyond their credibility level. People will soon stop seeing these TV channels due to the abject biased reportage and misquoting its leaders for having said what they have not. When we switch to the Hindi channels we get the full story as they screen the full video strip of the person speaking.
After we see this we know that what Modi was saying is that: Even though all the terrorists came from Pakistan but they had local logistical support that had made them familiar with the lay of the land and the target buildings. It is common sense with which everyone with a rational mind will agree. In other words, how can a few guys just cross the Arabian Sea and walk through Gateway of India, enter the two hotels and Nariman House and coolly take them over? Is it possible without anyone guiding them from within Mumbai?Even when we go to a new place we have to take help from local people to locate the house we have come to visit for the first time.
What Modi was saying is that those local people who had given the support to the terrorists being Indians are not being pursued because catching them could open a Pandoras Box which would adversely affect the Congress's "Secular" image and turn off a particular community (vote bank) from voting for it in the next General Elections in April. That's all that Modi said. But can anyone impartial deny it that an operation this size which has been meticulously planned and executed could have been done without any local help? Even the trawler "Kuber" which the terrorists used to cross the sea belonged to an Indian. A section of the media seems to be selling their credibility to anti-Indian bidders.

WHEN YOU WANT TO CALL SOMEONE NAMES, JUST SAY HE IS FROM RSS.
The BJP has been asking for Election Commissioner Chawla's removal in every forum for a long time and if the Chief Election Commissioner Gopalswami is/was a RSS man he would have taken the same stand as he did now much earlier. So why was Chawla not removed much earlier? In any case Gopalswami is a toothless tiger as the Congress government is not going to take his advice for removing someone whom they have planted in the CEC in the first place for their sole benefit. The Law Minister who is a Party man has already announced that the next Chief Election Commissioner will be Chawla when the present incumbent Gopalswami retires in April 2009, just before the general elections are held. So much for the Election Commission being an autonomous body that brooks no government interference!
But what is wrong with the RSS? Is it because the vested interests from the pseudo-secular political lobby and the English media want us to believe in their spurious propaganda? We will judge every organisation by its actions and refuse to be brainwashed by predisposed opinion serving vested interests. The truth is that the RSS undertakes more selfless work in the remotest corners of the country than even Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity ever did and they have been doing it for decades that include places which are now in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The RSS avoids all forms of advertisement and publicity of its activities as it does not collect money from the general public like most charitable organizations and NGOs we know. All contributions are from its members comprising of a non-denominational open body of millions all over the world as it feels that publicity can make serious workers lose their dedication.

With a false sense of bravado the Congress has recently made the announcement that there is no UPA at the Centre for the elections but only local adjustments. This is a ploy to tell the people that it is avoiding a Khichri Sarkar (a mishmash of diverse elements) and is making a bid for power on its own like in the past when Nehru or his daughter used to go for elections. At the same time the Party is keeping its doors wide open for last minute indiscriminate defections from other outfits in case it is far away from the half-way mark after the general election results are in. It could include the Left again (watch what Pranab Mukherji is up to in West Bengal),the DMK, Trinamool, NCP and could include even breaking away a chunk of earlier opportunistic defectors from the BJP(those who are not original Sangh Parivar members)to cobble a majority.

MOTIVATED REPORTS IN THEIR MEDIA ARE PLANTS BY THE PAKI GOVT.
It is obvious that planted stories are written on behalf of the Pakistan government by their media which are faithfully reprinted by the Indian media. All the guys and gals from Pakistan that Indian English TV channels bring on their talk shows via video conferencing are either government stooges or too afraid to speak the truth against their govt. They merely reinforce the lies that their govt. dishes out every hour in order to buy life insurance in the lawless country in which they live.
The Taliban/Al Qaeda are "successful" in Pakistan as the ISI and Pak Army are in cahoots with them with a toothless govt. in place as a front that puts the onus on the rest of the world to protect it for saving a so-called "fledgling democracy" in Pakistan .In other words, while the ISI/Pak army will do all their dirty work unchecked in collaboration with the Taliban/Al Qaeda to disturb world peace, it is the duty of the world to "save" the puppet civilian govt which has no powers or control! What is wrong if Pakistan breaks up along the centuries old fault lines? It will once again prove that religion is not durable glue even it be Islam.

Sharia is God's law and hence it cannot be challenged making it easy to rule any Muslim country in its name even while indulging in ungodly activities as Gen Zia did in Pakistan.

JUST FOR DRAWING ATTENTION TO ONESELF
We all hang our heads in shame that you have decided to name your agency after Lord Ram who the world considers to be Maryada Purushottam. Your Sena is not even fit to be called Ravan Sena as even Ravan had some high ethics. Have you or your trash ever asked yourselves what is your goal in life? In the land of Gandhi is this the only form of protest against "Apasankskriti" being indulged in by a miniscule minority of mislead youth? Are you taking undue advantage of a BJP govt. in Karnataka? Are your activities going to add to the popularity of the BJP which the English media hates and will spare no turn to vilify it?
Are you fashioning yourself into another Fascist Sena created by Raj Thackeray? Why not name your brigade Raj Sena instead? We will recommend the State government to horse whip all those who had indulged in this unpardonable act in a Nationalist ruled State who call India "Bharat Mata" the adherents of which place the highest regard to women.

CHOOSING A PM, NOT A CRICKET CAPTAIN.
Manmohan Singh has already undergone a triple by-pass surgery and is now due for another one and he is 77 years old and still an aspirant for the Indian PM's post again. L.K.Advani, a few years older has had no medical problems even though Vajpayee has been living on a single kidney even when he was PM and is considered to be best the PM India ever had because he became PM thrice through three successive elections!
George Bush is an apt example of what blunders young chief executives can make just as Rajiv Gandhi had committed as PM. Recall all the sexcapades and scandals of the young Nehru/Gandhi family members like Vijay Lakshmi Pandit and Indira Gandhi who had to be thrown out of Gurudev's Shantiniketan due to leading an intemperate life.
There are too many skeletons in the Nehru/Gandhi family's cupboards which they had acquired since they were young that includes Nehru himself,Rajiv Gandhi (stealing diplomats' cars in Delhi)and Sanjiv, renamed Sanjay Gandhi also, whose biological father is Muhammad Yunus. Those who are skeptical can disprove this by matching the DNAs of Varun Feroze Gandhi, Sanjay and Menaka Gandhi’s son and Adil Shahryar an ex-felon and the son of Muhammad Yunus, the in house guest of Indira Gandhi for many years.

Guys, we are choosing a PM not a cricket captain to lead a nation of over 1 billion. Advani is not only physically fit, highly read and mentally agile but also has a squeaky clean image. Even Narsimha Rao as PM was aghast when Advani had of his own resigned from Parliament after Rao tried to falsely implicate him in the Jain Havala case. When Rao asked him what was the need for such an extreme step as "Sab kuch chalta hey in Indian politics," Advani had replied that, "One vicious act needs to be countered with another vicious act. And I will not enter Parliament again till I am honourably exonerated of all charges." We all know he did keep his word till the end.
Our's is a Parliamentary form of democracy where nearly 900 MPs from both houses legislate. Add to that hundreds or thousands of bureaucrats in the country who actually run India. Advani is going to head a coalition called NDA which will comprise of other parties as well. Therefore, what we need is a calm headed person like Advani who can keep the coalition together which a hot headed youngster is quite incapable of doing. Had our's been a Presidential form like the USA then all this age related capability factors of a single Commander-in-Chief would have been vital like a blundering Bush ordering US Marines into Iraq.
No Indian PM can take such unilateral decision without obtaining a consensus from his Cabinet Ministers or even the Opposition. That is why despite being a Sardar(the brave and valorous Sikhs believe that 1 Sardar is equal to 1.25 lakhs of ordinary humans) a whining Manmohan Singh has a mouse like Pranab Mukherjee issuing veiled threats to Pakistan every evening over TV channels in order to ensure that the BJP does not jump into the Nationalist space.
What has India done on its own after 26/11 except going and crying to the rest of the world? Do we want a government that cannot act on its own but needs crutches to be provided by foreign countries that have their own selfish agendas to fulfill? Just because the Congress Party and its stalwarts depend on its own Mommy staying at 10, Janpath, New Delhi, this government thinks there are several other Mothers out there to provide India with comfort. Tough Luck-just forget it.

NOT GIVING INTO BLACKMAIL IS THE RIGHT MOVE.
Who the hell is this Kalyan Singh? Did he make the BJP or did the Party make him? Despite the BJP having accommodated his girl friend Kusum Rai and his son, Kalyan wants more like all blackmailers do as they can never have enough once their blackmail begins to pay off. The SP deserves him just as he deserves the SP.
We have seen time and again that those who leave the BJP become irrelevant in politics like Uma Bharati, Sankarsinh Vagela, Madanlal Khurana etc., who are now all Kalyan Singh's new found heroes. The back bone of the BJP is the Sangh and not the other way round. When someone from the Sangh joins the BJP he/she jumps from a clean lake into a filthy cesspool-that's why we have so many failed Sayamsevaks like Ram Naik who was a disgrace to the BJP as he gave out petrol pump and LPG gas dealerships against money through his daughter Vishaka Kulkarni and her husband acting as his fronts. That is why he lost to a third rate comedian (Bhand) like Govinda.
Yet though the BJP conveniently forgets it every time the elections are over, without the foot soldiers of the RSS the BJP can never win any elections as Party members are too few and busy looking at their self-interests to bother about the Party unlike the ideologically sound Sangh members as the RSS does not believe in self-propaganda and standing for elections. That brings us to the next problem from within the Party itself and that is the fight between Mass Leaders and Power Brokers. Before winning election, it is the dirty Mass Leaders, who set the agenda. After getting power the Power Brokers, like Kalraj Mishra and Lalji Tandon, take over. It happens in all parties, Congress, BJP, SP, CPI(M), etc. The Agenda is set by guys who cannot even win in a Panchayat election.
Shatrughan Sinha is another fit case for being thrown out of the Party for announcing his own candidature from Patna Sahib. A spent force, a ham actor, he is nothing but a loud mouth who was a failure as a Health Minister as well. Let him stand as an independent or Congress candidate from anywhere and see his deposit being forfeited. Had Advani been not so desperate to become PM and his obsession made known so openly, there would have been fewer blackmailers challenging the BJP today. Next it will be the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, Akali Dal in Punjab and Ajit Singh from a small corner in U.P. Let the BJP get a little more than 150 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections and then you will see ALL Parties barring the Congress and the Communists making a bee line to join the NDA. Today, it seems as if it is the BJP that is running after all the others and that's where it is making a blunder.

HERE ALL ARE CROOKS-NONE ARE INNOCENT.
Here is a country wise break up of illegal funds stashed away in Swiss Bank numbered accounts by their citizens:
1. Indians: $ 1456 billions.
2. Russians: $ 470 billions
3. United Kingdom: $ 390 billions
4. Ukraine $ 100 billions
5. China: $ 96 billions
What is of special interest is that Indians hold more than all the others put together. At least we can now boast that in some economic activity we are world beaters. Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to what is the percentage of the loot of $ 1456 billions are being held by our politicians?
10 lakhs is one million, 1 crore is 10 million and 1000 million is 1 billion whereas 1000 billion is 1 trillion. And the $1 dollar can be taken roughly @ Rs. 50. Who said India is a poor country?
The fault lies with election system and the political party system. For example, a party like the Congress needs Rs. 20 crore DAILY to run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Kohima etc. Where does all this money come from?
ALL political parties in India need crores of cash on a day to day basis, even the Stalinist CPI(M) which gets bulk of its money from China as the undivided CPI used to get it from their fatherland Russia.The rest they collect through 'haftas' from their affiliated trade unions forcefully pulled in from workers who are compelled to become members. The CPI(M) has a trade union for EVERY activity from prostitution to policemen and illegal hawkers who occupy roads to unregistered autos that are polluting Calcutta. The few industries that do exist in CPI(M) ruled States buy peace from disruptive activities of trade unions by paying the Party "peace money" on a regular basis.
Yet they have managed to keep a clean image of themselves unlike other Parties. This also gives them total control over the State they rule as they can manipulate these trade unions to do or not do anything as per the Party's diktat.

INDIAN SECULARISM AND ITS PECULARITIES.
Lord Macaulay in Minute of 1835 had expressed: “We must have a class of persons, Indians in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect,” and “Who could deny that a single shelf of good European library is worth the whole native literature of India.” As a result an elite in Indian society was spawned who were educated Hindus who openly denounced Hinduism and said that they were ashamed of their origins. But Swami Vivekananda turned things around when he went to Chicago and he had delivered his famous speech on 11th September 1893 (exactly 108 years before the demolitions of the World Trade Centre, New York) extolling the virtues of Hinduism, the American media of those days wrote,” We send missionaries to Vivekananda’s people. It would be more fitting that they should send missionaries to us.”
Aurobindo Ghosh, the revolutionary Saint of India further clarified that, “When it is said that India shall rise, it is the Sanatan Dharma that shall rise. When it is said that India shall be great, it is the Sanatan Dharma that shall be great. That which we call the Hindu religion is really the eternal religion because it is universal religion which embraces all others. If religion is not universal, it cannot be eternal. A narrow religion, a sectarian religion, an exclusive religion can live only for a limited time and limited purpose. Such an agenda, warns Dr Tellis, currently a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, would be "a colossal blunder."
"It's an example of facile solutions that people are reaching for because they have either not done the analysis or they have not thought through the solution carefully," the Mumbai-born Dr Tellis said. "Everyone is gravitating towards what appears to be the sexy solution. The difficulty is that it will only make things worse." Shades of George W. Bush’s Iraq misadventure?
As long as India keeps begging others for support it will be kicked around. Starting with the USA all countries believe and practice that their own interests lay above all other considerations, including puny Israel. An ineffective and effete India of Mahatma Gandhi wants to be an exception which results in even insignificant countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh showing India total disregard. Unless India asserts its own priorities as sacrosanct like China does, all other countries will keep playing ducks and drakes with us.
The US President may be all powerful to take a final decision on any matter, but he is surrounded by think tanks and intelligence agencies (CIA, FBI etc.) who are all members of past legacies that keep feeding him with their own views for implementation so that their relevance within the system remains unchanged. Bureaucracies everywhere are the same and the US is no different. Any radical thinking leading to a major change in State policy is likely to cost these bureaucrats their jobs and even ignominy. Also, the President runs the risk of making a blunder by not listening to advises of his advisers and in an open society like the US soon these details are leaked to the media resulting in the President landing up with egg on his face which may result in his not getting re-elected for the second term or his own Party getting a drubbing in the next election due to his mistakes. There is no substitute for India standing on its own legs in matters concerning its own because nobody else is going to do it on its behalf.

BUSH THE INDIA LOVER.
George Bush killed Saddam Hussein who was the only leftist and truly anti-Islamic leader amongst the Arabs all of whom like Osama bin Laden hated his guts. Saddam’s Ba’athist Party was inclined to the Soviet Union who had even pumped in billions of dollars to revamp Iraq’s oil producing structure which the others including America couldn’t digest. The Saudis, Iranians and other monarchies of the Arab countries must have paid Bush to get rid of him in the garb of looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) which Saddam never possessed. Saddam was a true friend of India through thick and thin and every time there was a skirmish with Pakistan he inevitably supported India and rebuked Pakistan. Does any other Muslim country have this track record? Try but you wont find any.
Saddam may have been a tyrant to his people but who gave the right to Bush to invade Iraq? Has America invaded all other oppressive regimes elsewhere? The Americans had put up with Bush the tyrant for 8 years but did any other country declare a war in the U.S.? See what a messy bushfire this Bush had started to the detriment of the Iraqis and the Americans whose economies he has destroyed. And this is the guy whom Manmohan Singh had praised saying all Indians loved him. With whose permission did he say this?
But there is a familiar similarity between Singh and Bush when the latter had stated: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we," in Washington DC, on 5 August, 2004. One may laugh at this Bushism of which there are many, but as Indians it is not funny as to how seriously and effectively our leadership pursues this foolish doctrine of mindless appeasement of our enemies. Every time the Pak Army/ISI keeps bleeding us with new wounds our government and media take up the responsibility of "Not doing anything to destabilise the fragile Pakistani democracy." The Pak Army must be having good laugh that even if they attack India a thousand times the Indians will not do anything to “destabilize” their very own puppet regime which is a mere front of pseudo-democracy.

FOR THOSE WHO CONFUSE CRICKET/FOOTBALL WITH GOVERNANCE
India is passing through very bad times both economically and politically with enemies like China, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh surrounding us on all sides. The U.S. is more dependent on Pakistan than India but it wants us to buy all our military hardware from them-hence its recent camaraderie with India. BRING BACK ATALJI THE IMMORTAL.
Rajnath Singh has always been a washout from day one like any other Party leader who has been imposed on it instead of being “genuinely” elected. This pernicious practice had been introduced into the Party by L.K Advani who is basically a weak and insecure person.
Some Thakurs have been historically divisive from the days of Jaichand. Bring back Atalji irrespective of his health. He is in better shape than Fidel Castro or even Arjun Singh and yet they are hanging on. Atalji is merely fed up with the way the BJP has shaped itself into. I remember his once referring to a Talat Mehmood song, “Jaye to jaye kahan,” when a scribed had described him as a good man in a bad Party. His brain is still razor sharp. It is only his knees that make it hard for him to walk. His slow way of speaking now may be a different style statement. It definitely sounds better than the nasal gibberish of Manmohan Singh or badly pronounced Hindi screeching speeches read out by Sonia trying to imitate her mother-in-law in style and failing. His only blot was Ranjan Bhattacharya, the husband of his foster daughter Namita.
With Atalji in-charge all the others in the Party will fall in line and his image is acceptable to all parties in India in case of another coalition with new NDA partners as well. He has always lived up to his life’s philosophy of, “I never hit anyone below the belt.” It is unfortunate that he has become the EL CID of the BJP. Even if he genuinely does not wish to be PM he should announce his willingness now categorically and then decide what to do after having led the Party to victory.
BJP should immediately throw out all those who put their own egos before the Party like it did with Uma Bharati, Madanlal Khurana, Govindacharya, Shankarsinh Vaghela and now Shekhawat (another Thakur) who is just a CM material.
No one is above the Party. And MOST importantly, it MUST win back the trust of the Sangh Parivar whose dedicated cadres can never be substituted for ground work which is the mainstay of winning any election anywhere like the CPI (M) has proved in West Bengal over and over again in the last 32 years. Advani and his chamchas may want him as PM but unless the electorate wants it that way he comes nowhere near that seat. He may be later "persuaded" to occupy it by Atalji declining due to deteriorating health grounds like a modern day Vishma Pitamaha. Who knows, power may work like a miraculous Mrithsanjeevani on him. The only problem is that he being atal (resolute) who is going to plead with him? Let me be the first one with this article.

BLINKERED VISION WITH UNTHINKING MINDS!!
Some of us here are talking of innocent children being killed in Gaza due to Israeli fire. You know why? Because in the media's religion, "Dog biting man is not news but man biting dog is." When the Hamas started firing rockets into Israel do you think it was killing no Israeli kids or were those all blank missiles?
The media loves to play up the effects of Israeli shelling because Palestinians are perceived to be underdogs although ALL the nearly 60 Muslim countries are with them. Unfortunately for the world, its most precious resource today, Oil, is mostly found in Islamic countries. Can you imagine how many trillions of $US are earned every year through exports of this commodity? We all know that, “He who pays the Piper calls the tune”. As Israel has no oil of its own to pay the Piper with hence nobody plays its tune.
If the media was all that impartial as it falsely claims, it would also show equal footage of the devastating effects of Hamas, Yemeni or Syrian shells that daily slam into Israel. The so-called high casualty civilian figures in Gaza are there because like its "Let's Kill for Allah" jihadi fraternity everywhere the Hamas are a bunch of COWARDS who have dug themselves in amongst high density civilian population areas to fire their rockets from. In any such exchange it is normal military practice to follow the trajectory of the missile hitting you and follow its parabola of flight so that your shell lands almost on the same spot from where the shell was fired at you. That is why India bought the BOFORS gun which uses the “Shoot and scoot” technique relocating in seconds from the spot it had fired from so that the return fire lands on empty space vacated.
As missiles can't differentiate between army and civilian targets hence the high Palestinian casualties in Gaza. The Israelis have the right to live too and defend themselves from their enemies. No world opinion or even of its own Left in Israel can take away that right at any time and Israel knows it well. They also know that had there been an Israeli State during the Third Reich, there would have been no holocaust as the Jews were then stateless citizens and the rest of the world were treating them like pariahs. They will ensure that history does not repeat itself. They hardly have a choice.

BAD KARMA AFFECTS EVEN THE GOVERNMENT
Who said that the doctrine of Karma affects only individuals? Right now the Public Sector cartel of government owned Oil companies (PSUs) are seeing a shut down in their operations due to a nationwide strike by their nearly 40,000 officers demanding an overdue legitimate and earlier committed salary and perks hike by the government. It has also badly hit all forms of transport that run on petroleum products on land, sea or air. The highly unionized staffs even though not involved in the present fracas are relishing the situation and extending tacit support to this movement as it will be their turn next to have their own emoluments increased for catching up with that of the officers as it exists now.
The previous NDA government had started the open market regime for petrol/diesel retail prices which reflected the ups and downs of international crude oil prices. The present "populist" UPA government supposedly headed by a world renowned economist had fallen into the anti-market Marxist trap of removing this universally followed proven practice which even poor countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh follow. To make matters even worse this government has removed the earlier committed "level playing field" in the petrol/diesel retail prices by giving their own PSU oil companies huge subsidies to keep prices artificially down to reduce their losses still being incurred that had resulted in private players like Reliance, Essar and Shell shutting shop as they were unable to market their products without huge losses by matching PSU prices minus government subsidies. Their joint complaint is gathering dust with the Petroleum Regulatory Authority set up by the government for correcting such irregularities.
These companies can move court as they have a very strong case in their favour but the repercussions could be detrimental with government reprisals. On earlier occasions whenever the PSU Oil officers or workers went on strike these private players being unaffected kept their pumps open as their officers/workers had no unions to start with. Further, the dealers/operators of these Private Oil companies were not members of the strike hungry Petroleum Dealers' Associations either. Had this myopic government kept the "level playing field" intact this current situation would never have arisen.
It is also a fact that thousands of pump/gas dealerships of PSUs are owned by past/present Ministers/MPs/MLAs who rake in huge unaccounted for profits through selling adulterated and short delivered fuels to the luckless vehicle owners which is simply not possible to be done at any private oil company’s fuel outlets as they are desperate to increase market share through world class service and quickly recover their huge investments in a competitive environment.

THE REAL INDIAN ENRON IS ROUND THE CORNER.
The real Indian Enron is yet to come as most people including knowledgeable people handling Indian corporate matters or the share market movers are purchasable commodities who refuse to see the reality staring at them in the face. These scamsters have huge media budgets to keep our media happy from digging deep into their nefarious activities. Yet, the moment any scandal breaks these same media jokers plaster their former patrons through “Breaking News” streaming and screaming coverage for improving their viewer ship ratings or media circulation.
The scamsters also help themselves to get manipulated prestigious awards which have nothing to do with genuine corporate performance. The real Indian Enron will be the closely held and most unprofessionally crony run family business in the energy sector. They recruit the best professionals in the business paying fat salaries but do not avail of their expertise. These experts are soon frustrated as they have to do the bidding of the owner's cronies and family members, which result in wrong decisions which in turn leads to huge losses in the business as indeed all the businesses that this most hyped Indian corporate entity has been entering have incurred staggering losses. These professionals also cannot just resign and leave as the paycheck is too lucrative to forgo or a matching substitute found in a hurry.
These highly paid experts in their fields are mere window dressing in order to fool the public and stakeholders that the company is in best hands and then the nouveau-riche owners enter the share market with high premium IPOs a substantial part of which they skim off to their personal account and indulge in a vulgar rich lifestyle via highly inflated big projects undertaken for which the IPO was issued. With poor cash flows arising out of repeated business failures the company has even run out of working capital, incurred huge debts from all over which they are desperately trying to service to avoid being defaulters. They are very fast running out of viable options before the bubble bursts. That’s when the Indian Enron will become a reality with disastrous aftermath that will wipe out millions of their hard earned money.
INDIAN POLITICS IS NOTHING BUT TOKENISM TO FOOL INDIANS.
All politicians of all parties are same. It is foolish to claim that if Muslims are elected as MLAs or MPs then automatically all Muslim grievances will be redressed by these politicians from the community.
Despite the Congress (or the Left's) enduring formula of Muslim appeasement when they even had senior ministers and Presidents from the community then why did the Sachar Commission bring out the glaring "neglect" of the Muslim community? It is a myth created by "secular" parties that every community must be represented so that in the event of any mishandling of a situation this acts as an insurance for them as the matter is adjudicated by the community’s representative who will protect his parties interest so that he can get a ticket to get elected again.
Is a genuinely good Hindu politician worse than a thug who is from another community? Why can't a good person from any community genuinely represent all the people in his constituency irrespective of their religion or caste? Is Bihar's gangster Taslimuddin, a minister of the RJD and Lalu Yadav favourite doing any yeomen service to his community? Are the Muslims proud of him? His main contributions are lining his own pockets, killing his opponents and illegally settling Bangladeshi Biharis in his constituency. Lalu Yadav had ruled Bihar for 15 years at a stretch and yet has it improved the economic or social status of the really poor Yadavs of his community? How has Ram Vilas Paswan being a union minister helped Dalits anywhere? Or for that matter U.P Chief Minister Mayavati, another Dalit (backward caste) who sets huge fund collection targets for herself on her birthday every year which led to the killing of an engineer by her cabinet member when he refused to be a part of the looting apparatus?
The sooner we get out of this mind set of "community representation" being a must irrespective of the quality of governance by the Party in power the better it will be for Indian democracy. Otherwise, this mentality of merit less "reservations" will continue to keep us down as a nation.
ALL U.S. PRESIDENTS LEARN ON THE JOB.
With perhaps the sole exception of George Wicked Bush all Presidents have learned on the job. So will Obama. But the main problem is that India never articulates its real needs and other countries misread India's requirements. Indians have not yet learned the subject of politics but indulge in polemics of squabbling with each other like college students indulging in their Union politics of one-up-manship for earning fleeting brownie points.
Their is no long term strategy in any Indian politician's scheme but only short term tactics of immediate political returns. Our politicians keep us divided on caste, creed and reservations considerations of vote bank politics. It not only confuses others about our actual focus but also helps our detractors to take advantage of our fractured unity as Indians. Example, the Left's open support to China and Pakistan in Parliament or by others who have made Muslims appeasement their sole political manifesto of survival which includes all parties.
Despite Israel (having a strong self-destructive Left) being a small country surrounded by dangerous enemies out to wipe it off the map of the globe nobody is in any doubt of its strategies and actions which says "You can love us or you can hate us-but you cannot ignore us". What impression does India invoke around the world? That we are a soft nation which can be kicked around like even non-countries like Pakistan, Nepal or Bangladesh. Everyone loves to be allied with a strong person and enjoys kicking the weak. Why blame Obama of trying to interfere in India’s internal matters beginning with Kashmir? You cannot blame him for concluding that we are soft state and a pushover.

As long as we have a de facto PM who is a Catholic and a foreigner who suffers from a siege mentality as a minority like some of her Muslim brethren do in India and the ruling Party is the appeasing Congress, such effective and decisive advises will be thrown into the dustbin.
We have a government that wants India to bleed through a 1000 cuts in order to keep a certain section of their conniving vote bank on their side. The whole problem actually lies with a large number of Hindu voters who have fallen into the elitist "pseudo-secular-Left-Liberal" trap for being "politically correct" by voting against Nationalism because this space has been occupied by the saffronites who are considered to be "natives" and therefore uncultured. Hindi, the national language is even derisively called “vernacular”. Shows how little we have progressed from the days of the British Raj, thanks to the British Surrogates who took over ruling India from them on 15th August 1947. Reason why Nehru is called the last Viceroy of India.
The day (at least for once) all Hindus fully vote for any Nationalist Party, all decisive actions for ensuring durable peace and making India terror free will become quite common as it is in Israel or the USA. Unfortunately, Hindus are a badly fragmented lot which results in their enemies having a field day and winning against them all the time. Otherwise, how does Deshdrohis like Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Yadav, Mayavati,Ram Vilas Paswan, Karunanidhi, Congress and the Leftists keep winning elections?
ULFA IS A PART OF ISI, AL QAEDA & INDIA’S CONGRESS PARTY
ULFA seems to be most active during Congress rule. Is it a mere coincidence? The father of Muslim infiltration from East Pakistan immediately before and after Partition was Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed whom the Congress later made the President of India. His well preserved Mazaar is even maintained in New Delhi.
It is the Congress which had implemented the IMDT Act that exclusively applies to Assam only and not the rest of India which puts the onus of declaring a Muslim infiltrator from Bangladesh that he is an infiltrator on the person accusing him to be so. Otherwise he is considered to be a bona fide Indian citizen !! In the rest of India it is for the infiltrator to prove that he is an Indian citizen !! Can you beat it ?? And yet the Assamese and other North Eastern citizens keeps voting this anti-national party back to power all the time. Are they interested in becoming a part of an expanded Bangladesh to be carved out of India after a few years from now?? Already, several districts of Assam have become Muslim majority with the local and ethnic population playing second fiddle arising out of rampant Muslim infiltration and uncontrolled baby production by those who can have up to four wives at a time.
PROGRESS OF INDIAN NATIONALISM UNSTOPPABLE. BUT…….
Unless the BJP shoots itself in the foot again it is unstoppable. Notice that even in J&K where the BJP as been a fringe player all this while it is "BJP versus the rest (read pseudo-secular)". The BJP should try to get back its "Party with a difference" stance instead of blindly following Advani's mantra of becoming a clone of the Congress as he is in a terrible hurry to become the next PM. He should believe that "what is allotted cannot be blotted". If he is destined to be PM he will be PM if not no power on earth or beyond can make him the PM. His mantra is that the BJP has to occupy the Congress space as vacuum cannot exist in nature. But it has to be done in a unique manner not by becoming a clone of a discredited, despotic and corrupt dispensation of sycophants. Advani should reinvent himself as a true leader who elects future leaders from the bottom up instead of imposing his selections from the top, as like everything in life, change is the only constant, even in a political party. Example the debacle in Rajasthan with Ms Raje who is not even a Rajasthani.
It is the grassroots that keep in touch with the masses/voters not the leaders who are constantly living in their Ivory towers thanks to the free media coverage they are getting all the time. Pontification does not get votes for the party but grassroots contact and hard work there 365 days a year does. Learn from the Left in West Bengal the only cadre based group in India today, a position the BJP forsook to become another mass based party like the Congress.
You will need to study the Bengal phenomenon as to why the Commies-read CPM and not the CPI which is virtually non-existent anywhere-have been ruling a single State for over 3 decades. One will have to see how seriously the Left takes being in power forever takes. For them it is a 24x7x365 days job. They even know who votes for whom in West Bengal so that they can disenfranchise those whom they know vote for opposition parties. They rig elections, jam polling booths, threaten and chase away observers of other parties and before that they even threaten opposition candidates from filing their nominations so that the Left candidates can "win" unopposed.
But all this takes dedication of the highest order unlike polluted "Mass based" parties of “Aya Rams and Gaya Rams” (here today gone tomorrow) who raise emotive issues just three months before any election hoping to cash in on voter cupidity so that they can relax for the balance 4 years and 9 months!
You can't keep fooling the people perpetually with only emotive issues. You have to work on the ground throughout the year with dedicated cadre who will ensure victory for their party and not depend on the voters being swayed by electoral speeches/rhetoric of their so-called national or state leaders. In such a scenario such a party can do well only if its opponents have become hate objects triggering a negative vote. I am talking of a positive vote where people vote FOR a party and not AGAINST another. That’s where Lal Kishenchand Advani’s success lay after which he had wrongly hogged kudos for being a formidable organizer. That is why he is such a failure now.
As long as an irrational and immature Mamata Banerji remains the sole alternative to the Left in Bengal, the Left rule will continue in perpetuity. Due to the strategic blunders of the impatient Vajpayee-Advani duo, the BJP today is non-existent in West Bengal after the local unit was tied to Mamata’s sari pallu like a parasite that had no legs (roots) of its own to stand on.
