DESPITE WORSHIPING THE SAME GOD, CONFUSED COWBOY WANTS TO CONVERT.

It is impossible to denigrate Hindu gods. Any god or goddess who can be made fun of is a living god or goddess and is resilient enough to even face ridicule and yet survive. What is being sent to Senator Barack Obama is an idol of Lord Hanuman, not Hanuman himself by Hindus who are proud idol worshippers. I am sure that the Lord would like to continue to live in India, especially in Varanasi. But sending his idol to Obama will do a lot of good to Obama, India and the USA.

We are not the barbaric and illiterate Taliban and nor should we imitate them as our ethos and theirs are diametrically opposed. They destroyed the Bamiyan Buddhas yet they cannot destroy Buddhism. But they will one day destroy their own ethos and themselves because they are like dangerous bacteria that can live only to multiply themselves whilst destroying the very living host on which they survive. See what is happening to them and their creators, Pakistan. The Taliban with the active participation of Pakistan’s ISI are daily killing innocent Afghans. Culturally or in a shared religion, there is no difference amongst the Taliban, Pakistanis and them. So who is killing whom?

Hinduism will survive all other faiths which will all vanish over time-if for nothing else but that it has 330 million gods and goddesses as compared to the others who have only one. That makes Hindus 330 million times more blessed and Lord Hanuman, who is known as Sankat Mochan, or the one who removes all crises from people's lives is also one of them. If Obama becomes the next US President he becomes the world's most powerful man and if the world's most powerful man seeks and gets the blessings of Lord Hanuman then the world will be a far better place to live in than it is now where the world's most powerful but confused man is contemplating to convert to Roman Catholicism from being a Protestant he has been all his life despite worshiping the same God and reading the same holy book. That’s what happens when your religion plays the numbers game and has nothing to do with spirituality which ought to be the goal of every religious conviction that only Hinduism exemplifies.
