What a strange country we live in! Opinions expressed here are criticizing those very people for whom the country has not yet been over taken by the axis of evil from across the borders who have enough sympathizers within India. We have politicians who are with China & Pakistan and prefer to work against India. They were against POTA and have defended terrorists in Parliament and outside. Guys like Lalu & Mulayam when they were CMs even refused to ban SIMI when the Centre had banned them thus conveying the impression as if the Indian Muslims were all sympathizers of SIMI and their fountainhead Pakistan's ISI & al Qaeda. Such is their desperation for their vote bank! And yet many of us spread the word that these Deshdrohis are true secularists.
Can you imagine what would have happened to us if the RSS, cancer specialist Dr. Praveen Togadia of VHP, Narendra Modi, Ashok Singhal or Uma Bharati who have a mass appeal and media pull across the country were not there to safe guard our interests? The Partition happened because such leaders were not there at that time in the 1940s. The proof of that lies with the fact of the BJP's rise to power to rule at the Centre for 6 years. It is the millions of patriotic & right thinking Indians who had voted for and put them there. BJP could not do much as per their own manifesto as they had hoped because of the shortfall as a single majority and had to depend on several pseudo-secularists. But I do agree that the entire Thakeray clan is a bunch of thugs posing as politicians.
SIMI will be a part of UPA - Congress - Left alliance in next Lok Sabha elections. Lalu will be projected as the future Home Minister and Mulayam Singh Yadav as the Deputy PM (IF UPA Khichri wins that is!). Then these patriotic police officers who have just cracked the SIMI network will be suspended from service and called communalists.
And Lalu will sing the song, “Mera Bharat Mahan - sau mein nabbe gaddar aur beiman”.
