Some right wing Christian lobbies are baying for Narendra Modi’s blood and demanding that his US Visa be revoked. It is indeed a funny situation. How can you revoke someone’s Visa when he has not even applied for it? It is like daring a person to apply for a Visa so that it may be perversely denied to him! Modi is an elected Chief Minister of one of India’s most prosperous States and denying him a Visa is a slap on the face of the Prime Minister who is of the firm belief that George Bush is a personal friend. It also poorly reflects on the effete policy of an ineffective Foreign Minister who has not even bothered to lodge an official protest. What can you say about a Prime Minister or a foreign policy that sees a Sonia Gandhi being invited by China to attend the Beijing Olympics instead of the Prime Minister?No wonder, we get no respect anywhere, even Bangladesh or Nepal.

With a Christian lobbyist like Republican George “Wicked” Bush as US President, Modi's Visa to the US was revoked not because of the riots as the Muslims of the world intensely hate the US and Bush's America detest Muslims but because Modi has legally banned conversions in Gujarat that badly hits the Christian Right that is Bush’s constituency.

Bush has killed more Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan than the few hundred Muslims who died in the Gujarat riots as a reaction to Muslims first killing Hindu pilgrims inside a rail compartment in Godhra. Same way Rajiv Gandhi was responsible for the killing of over 3500 Sikhs in Delhi after the assassination of Indira Gandhi. Was his US Visa revoked? No, because he had earlier converted to Roman Catholicism as a prerequisite to Italian Sonia marrying him.

Hindus are known for their universal tolerance which the followers of intolerant faiths, specifically Islam and Christianity, have misread as weakness. But don't worry, as time passes they will all get used to assertive Hindus not tolerating any nonsense from anyone anymore. But for that Hindus will need remain focused and steadfast and stay committed without reverting back to their old unassertive selves. A 1000 years rule by predators and their total subjugation has made the Hindu forget that his two greatest heroes, Ram and Krishna were both Kshatriyas (Warrior caste) who fought epic wars and had vanquished powerful enemies. Today's Hindu has fashioned himself after Gandhi, a shrewd Bania or Vaish (Trader caste) who followed Henry David Thoreau's 1849 essay "On the Duty of Civil Disobedience" and Leo Tolstoy and not the Bhagvad Gita as falsely spread by vested interest groups like Left Liberal Brigade and Leftist historians in order to keep the Hindus believing that the holy book talks of meekness in the face of aggression when it is actually the other way round.

The lion in the story had been suffering from an acute identity crisis until his mental attitude underwent a paradigm shift in the end that made him roar once again like the king of the jungle he always was.
