LET A NEW BJP EMERGE FROM THE ASHES.

What an excellent article “The knives are out in the BJP” in Rediff on 11th June 2009 which should be the Magna Carta of the BJP by Kanchan Gupta who is a true saffronite unlike Advani's opportunistic brigade. We all know that Sudheendra Kulkarni used to write for that scandal sheet BLITZ in which he used to abuse the BJS/BJP every week. He is a Commie Trojan horse imported into BJP to destroy it from within by overhauling LKA's image from Iron Man to a pseudo-secular one to placate the pseudo-secular NDA allies so that they readily endorse his bid for PMship. Result is a disaster for the Party for falling between 2 stools due to poor credibility of being neither fish nor fowl. Hasn't LKA heard of the Biblical saying "Unto thy own self be true”? As Hindutvadis Advani and his spin doctors ought to have held their belief in the Bhagavad Gita 3: 35 that says, “It is far better to discharge one's prescribed duties, even though they may be faultily, than another's duties. Destruction in the course of performing one's own duty is better than engaging in another's duties, for to follow another's path is dangerous.” Trying to fool BJP sympathisers and foisting himself as future PM above all other considerations including the BJP’s future.

Despite calling Manmohan Singh a weak PM Advani has always displayed acute signs of insecurity as a person who has surrounded himself with ineffective and lazy sycophants like Naidu,Vasundhara Raje(sole architect of the Rajasthan defeat), Jaitly and Swaraj (ex-Haryana Vikas Party) and imposing them on the Party despite their ineffectiveness.

LKA had gradually become a LIABILITY after his Rath Yatra was over as his infirmities, insecurity being one of them, floated to the surface once in power. After the initial spurt in its popularity due to its being a newborn Party under LKA, fortunes of the BJP have been steadily declining as he had been replacing its old and trusted leadership with his toadies all over India as brilliantly brought out by Kanchan Gupta, a dedicated admirer of the saffron cause in his Rediff article of 11th June 2009.

Advani has now outlived his role after he had taken the BJP to new heights post the Babri Masjid episode and he should now gracefully retire. He has learnt nothing from the recent drubbing at the hustings as he has immediately appointed all his lackeys who are responsible for the latest thrashing to crucial posts instead of holding them accountable in order to continue to remote control the Party in the event of his having to step down.

He and his coterie have run out of contemporary ideas for rejuvenating the Party as they could not think beyond their almost desperate single point agenda of seeing him as the next PM for their own aggrandizement- no thoughts for the Party or the nation. Well, the voters saw through the charade and thought differently as they did not consider Advani to be PM material in whom they could repose their trust.

Let the present discord culminate into a final showdown between the power brokers browsing their time in air conditioned rooms and genuine workers/leaders with grassroots connection who should now be allowed to take charge of the Party replacing LKA and his lackeys. To avoid further mischief and steady decline of the Party, LKA and his useless cohorts must immediately be flushed out from the central committee down to the district levels of the country. Let the true leadership emerge from the ranks and enough of LKA's dirty maneuverings of imposing his selections onto hapless district, State and national units.

LKA's days are over and he must gracefully exit voluntarily without his parting kick of causing further permanent damage to BJP by placing his minions in key positions in the Party so that he can continue to rule by remote control in order to prove his indispensability.

If BJP has to split so be it instead of disintegrating under the weight of its Advani imposed spurious leaders who only care about their own selfish interests using the BJP as their spring board for fulfilling private ambitions.

The whole of existence is dynamic and the only constant is change. Advani and his satraps have had their place in the sun as long as they were contributing to the nation and Party’s health. Having run out of ideas they should now gracefully bow out and save the Party further erosion of its image of being a Party with a difference and converting it into a Party full of differences instead.

Since Hindus have 330 million gods and goddesses, adding Allah to the list will not have any adverse effect. All Indian Muslims are Hindus by culture but their religion is Islam, the same that is in Indonesia (world's largest Muslim country) and Malaysia. Indian Muslims have many rituals that are unique to India that are not there in any other Muslim country. It is the Wahabi types who are the most extreme in their view of Islam and are doing it maximum damage by keeping it dogmatic and inflexible like the Taliban in Afghanistan.

It is politicians and religio-political leaders who keep society divided on caste or religious lines so that they can fish in troubled waters of their creation by stating that there is only one God instead of saying God is one. They have also kept the divide festering by NOT having a Uniform Civil Code for all Indians. All public displays of one's religion should be banned as the relation between a man and his God is a private one. By making it a public one we create divisions in society which is actually politics disguised as religion where so-called religious leaders in a nexus with professional politicians share the spoils of vote-banks that assures them (or they hope so)of block votes of a particular community or caste whose leaders exhort them to vote in line with the leaders' choice and gain. When we have more such Aruvanpalli Puthiyapurakkal Abdullakkuttys a Syed Ahmad Bukhari will have no role in India

NO ALTERNATIVE TO THE NDA FOR INDIA.

It is an accepted fact that any combination that includes the Left will do the country immense harm due to their outdated economic outlook. From day one the UPA had been hobbled by the so-called outside support from the Left. Of the three prominent groups now in the fray, the UPA, NDA and Third Front (that includes the Left) at least the urban educated/knowledgeable voter should not vote for any combination that includes the Left as it would be an invitation to further disaster, especially during the present economic meltdown. This is being highlighted as in the rural areas caste will play a dominant role irrespective of the consequences of a fractured mandate.

Indian economy needs all it can to revive and at the earliest. This will not be possible if the Left has any say in governance in any combine. It is given that the BJP & Congress will never combine & the same with Left & BJP. But there is no bar for the Congress to join hands with the Third Front that includes the Left or the Left alone once again for sharing power as they cannot join BJP if the magical number of 272 is to be arrived at. Therefore, it must be appreciated that there is no other alternative but to vote the NDA to majority if the country’s economic revival and general prosperity is to be ensured as it was during the previous NDA rule. With so many combinations in the fray even a small swing in favour of any group will see it emerging a front-runner. Thus great responsibility lies with the middle class voter to ensure that the swing is created favouring the NDA.

You will notice in such talk shows in the English TV channels that the anchor who has his own prejudged agenda does most of the talking giving others less chance to speak in order to brainwash the viewers. If there is a BJP spokesperson in the group he is given lesser opportunity to speak but browbeaten and harassed in the bargain. This in a way hardens the BJP's sympathisers’ resolve watching the show and at the same time irritating the neutral viewer who can see the naked partisanship against the BJP after which the "Under Dog" sympathy factor takes over. Moral of story: In every threat there is an opportunity.

They will all be shafted & will change their tune once the results are out proving that no amount of free propaganda done by one Dr. and his progeny for another Dr.Singh will work as people are not all fools as ALL types of opinion polls have so far proved beyond any doubt.

At the time of Kandahar release of Murderer Masood Azar and his cohorts by the NDA(not BJP) govt. all of us recall that a particular English TV channel(enjoying almost a monopoly then)owned and run by that Deshdrohi (anti-Indian) bearded abomination who almost single-handedly orchestrated the Agra Summit for making Parvez Musharraf the hero against Vajpayee, gathered the relatives of the hijacked passengers to scream and shout into his TV cameras day and night to force the govt. to release the terrorists in exchange for the hijacked passengers. The same channel carried out a stage managed “spontaneous” expression of “outrage” by making the relatives of the hijack victims to lie down on the ground in front of the Prime Minister’s official residence.

The coalition govt. that had many "secularist" and Congress clones compelled the BJP to annul its own agenda of governance in preference to the Common Minimum ("Secular") Programme ultimately forced the govt.'s hand to fall in line with the Congress sympathizer TV channel's machinations. That same channel today is highlighting the Congress's accusation 24X7 that LK Advani was a weak Home Minister who gave a safe passage to the terrorists to Kandahar! Most are scared of the nuisance value of the blackmailing media which may not wish to do you any good but could very effectively ruin your reputation with lies and innuendos for not adhering to their diktats. The only grave mistake that the NDA/BJP made was that they did not go into many of the shady deals and anti-national activities of the owners of this channel (Rs.500million dues to Door Darshan)for nailing them forever and also sending a message to the others to remain within the bounds of national interests.

STOP LIVING IN PAST GLORIES.

A typical Bong mindset always harps on Bengal's past greatness. Today's hero is Saurav Ganguli a mere over the hill cricketer. There is no one else. Most IAS and IPS officers like Industrialists in West Bengal are non-Bengalis even as the State has the highest number of unemployed as well trade unions.

Most of the serious students take up higher studies in other States of India in order to get out the Bong State. All those who can do so seek medical treatment outside the State even though traditionally the Bengalis once produced the best doctors in the entire country. Over 47000 industries have closed since the Red Flag bearers came to power 32 years ago. They have only taught the Bongs to be undisciplined in every walk of life. This has made Calcutta the capital the most chaotic and polluted city in India as there is no control but ample encouragement to break all traffic and environmental rules. It needs private citizens to file cases in courts to seek redress to save the city from its politicians and their lumpen cadres. All admirers of the Left should get degrees in Marxist economics and even PhDs on the subject and then see if they can get a job anywhere including “Communist” China. That's how redundant the Left has become today. It exists mainly because due to the wrong education policies of the Congress who have always appointed Left oriented Education Ministers to set the agenda from the Center which has led the Left to enjoy a huge intellectual space in India which is far beyond its size, utility and relevance. Sadly, the main opposition led by an irrational banshee is following the Left’s discarded practices.

Some of the most glaring contributions of our venerable Left to India’s political heritage are: Calling Netaji Subhas Bose a quisling and Tojo's dog, the revered Ramkrishna Paramhansa a schizophrenic, Swami Vivkananda things unprintable, Rishi Bankim Chandra communal and they even refused to join Gandhi's Quit India movement stating that "Ye Azadi Joota Hai" (“This independence is a sham”) after having sided with the British most blatantly through the jugglery of Marxist dialectics. They directly encouraged the formation of Pakistan by supporting Jinnah's two nation theory, sided with China in the 1962 war after accusing India as the aggressor which attacked China first even though their beloved Left leaning J.L. Nehru was the Prime Minister then. The list can go on and on but space constraints limit the exercise to catalog even the most anti-national acts of the discredited Left which has left an overwhelmingly large Indian population totally unimpressed with their presence despite India being a poor country and the Left always harping that they are champions of India's "have-nots."

Any government that is formed at the center with the fossilized Left's support is a sheer formula for disaster for the future of India in all respects especially on the economic front. Only a combine that does not take the Left’s help in forming the next government can take India forward or else it will be a repeat of our current history which mercifully and hopefully playing itself out.

PAYING A HEAVY PRICE FOR "POLITICAL CORRECTNESS".

Political "correctness" usually means hiding the bitter truth from coming out. We have been having this camouflaging activity for a long time and it is because of this that the real issues get swept under the carpet where they keep festering till after sometime the pent up emotions erupt again. All civilised societies believe in being "historically correct" rather than "politically correct" as the very fact that "correctness" needs no qualification like "politically" or any other adjective as truth can and always stands alone. Truth needs no props to hold it up at any time under any circumstances. Let us learn to be a more courageous and mature society and face the truth instead of being hypocritical. It is only through healthy dialogue, debate and open discussions that we can arrive at the root of all problems, not by covering them up under the ineffective doctrine of keeping things covered in order to avoid "hurting the sentiments" of a small section of the people who being used to this pampering will never change and integrate with the rest of India but continue to emotionally blackmail the rest of Indian society to their notional advantage of separateness which will ultimately not benefit them or society at large as falsehood has never provided any lasting solutions. Not integrating with the rest of the world has led to such entities today like Pakistan becoming the world's most dangerous place not only for Indian and humanity but for the Pakistanis themselves.

IT IS EITHER NDA OR TOTAL CHAOS FOR INDIA.

In a daily changing scenario in which the UPA is breaking up into pieces and with the Third (A)ffront having as many PMship claimants as number of constituents, how does it matter what someone like Sushma Swaraj is saying or not saying? She is not an Oracle of Delphi nor is she Bhrigu Muni the best ever astrologer. She was foolishly trying to be too clever in trying to keep the BJP's doors open to more potential allies in the event her Party emerges the largest single party after May 16 not realizing that she has put her foot in her mouth.

Everyone knows that all combines will be up for sale to the highest bidder from any Party which is the most desperate to make their leader the next PM. The real problem will start if the Third (A)ffront does better than expected as every constituent has a PM aspirant who will drive almost impossibly hard bargains for their support, prime most being the PM's post. This will send the country into unprecedented chaos which will worsen the present economic turmoil, worsening GDP and also the terrorism related issues from across Pakistan. This will make India lose all the momentum it has over enemies like Pakistan and China and downgrade our prestige in the international fora. Any combine that needs the Left's support to survive will prove to be extremely detrimental to India's short or long term interests even if it turns out to be a relatively stable entity. With all "secular" parties willing to do business with each other only a winning BJP will do without Left support resulting in the best alternative for the country.

BJP's POLITICAL OPPONENTS & MEDIA ARE NOT CONVINCING VOTERS.

BJP has to be now behind Varun solidly like the Rock of Gibraltar without faltering on the hopes of getting those votes which it will NEVER get. But by standing in support of young Varun the Party will give out a signal that it does not betray any of its members no matter what its opponents in the political arena or the media may say against it. In fact the more these disruptive elements bay for Varun's blood the more positive publicity the Party and Varun will get with the voters, not in Pilibhit alone but also elsewhere. Plus the sympathy for the underdog has now taken over.

In this lackluster election campaign the BJP had no issue to enthuse the voters with all over India in general and UP in particular till Varun's illogical incarceration. The fallout in BJP's favour in whole of UP the largest contributor to Lok Sabha seats has been electrifying. The many "secular" parties will split their votes in multicornered fights against each other as also Muslim votes after which all of them are running blindly.

This is the time for the BJP to consolidate its position by at least ensuring their own voters remain with them on voting day without bothering about those votes which would NEVER be theirs which will get divided to its advantage. BJP must ignore the “good advises” of the anti-BJP media who are out to distract it on behalf of the Congress Party. The Party should avoid petty egoistic hara-kiri like behaviour of the Arun Jaitly vs Rajnath Singh fights as anyone who thinks he is bigger than the Party like Kalyan Singh did is bad for the Party and should leave it and form his own outfit. Giving into blackmail never pays. The line taken by L.K. Advani that "we should exercise restraint, but we are with Varun" is the correct stance as BJP is not a regional party like Shiv Sena or MNS who can behave irresponsibly by fanning local emotions. The BJP is a pan-Indian Party that will need to show maturity as India grows in importance on world scene.

WHAT ABOUT DUPLICITY OF TV CHANNELS?

The Indian media which has become a law unto themselves could sooner demand that the fanatical Shahi Imams Syed Abdullah Bukhari be made the President of India and his son Ahmed be made the next Prime Minister. So what if they have over a dozen each of non-bailable offenses for sedition and contempt of court cases against each of them which no government dared to serve on them so far. After all, they have a much cleaner image than multiple murderers like Union Minister Taslimuddin of the RJD or Shahabuddin of RJD who is a permanent resident of Siwan jail and mentor of Lalu Yadav who wants to give him a ticket for this Lok Sabha election. Of course, there are many more such worthy candidates to choose from starting from Kerala (Madani), Tamil Nadu, Kashmir (Sajjad Lone), UP and Bihar with well established track records. Difficult choice for these guys, if you know what I mean. But such news won't.

What will make it as news are only anti-BJP and anti-Hindu activities that make it to our TV channels these days. In a way it is good for both the BJP and the Hindus as it will ensure that they are kept alert, vibrant and improve every day whereas the others will be lulled into sleep of complacence and end up diseased and fall by the wayside. That is why despite thousands of years of its existence Hinduism is still alive and relevant even in the 21 st Century as it keeps pace with the current times effortlessly which others fail to do or go into oblivion due to their inbuilt rigidities especially if they are revealed religions. The inability to cope with the change in a modern and ever changing world is another drawback they face. In fact, the central message of the Gita is that "change is the only constant." The proof lies in Hinduism’s ability to discard centuries old redundant practices and adopt new ones through a constant churning through debate and inquiry without the fear of irrelevance that adversely affect those who are strictly code bound to adhere to unchanging rules fixed centuries ago and out of sync with today’s realities.

We must understand that the author of a piece of pure fiction is none but Abdul Nasser Madani of the People's Democratic Party of Kerala which many consider to be a terrorist organisation. It may have been typed by a sympathetic LDF activist as Madani may be English illiterate but make no mistake that Madani is the original author. If the Maliyali Hindus have not learnt any lessons for so long under alternating LDF and UDF regimes when will they ever do so? Are they waiting for another Mopla uprising to wake them up?

IN INDIA EVERYONE WANTS TO BE COUNTED AS A MINORITY.

Her actual name is MENAKA and NOT MANEKA as she was renamed by Indira Gandhi as she was allergic to her original name. Menaka is 100 % correct when she states that Sikhism was founded to defend Hindus from the wrath of Aurangzeb who beheaded his father Guru Gobind Singhji the 9th Guru in exchange to sparing the lives of Hindus of Kashmir. The Sikhs are also called Keshadri Hindus after they were commanded by 10th and last Guru, Guru Govind Singhji to adopt the five Ks of Sikhism for the first time in their history which they observe till today. It was started with each Hindu family of the Punjab nominating the first born male child to the Khalsa Panth or the path of the Pure with the title of Singh or Lion. They are also called the sword arm of Hinduism being a martial race which was forged in order to protect the otherwise mild Hindu.

The Parsi faith does not accept anyone from outside its fold just as Feroze Gandhi ceased to be one after he married Indira Gandhi a non-Parsi. Hence both Rajiv and Sanjay were not Parsis and by the same analogy neither is Varun, as he did not under go the initiation Navjote Ceremony that all Parsis have to compulsorily do in order to be included into the fold.

Moreover, any human being who calls himself a Hindu is one as there is no ritual to induct him/her into its fold with the exception of the Brahmans, called twice born or Dwija who have the sacred thread ceremony solely meant for its male members as an initiation ceremony.

In India all want to be labeled as a minority as it pays material dividends to avoid being counted within the Hindu fold. But the truth is that barring the alien faiths all Indic religions are offshoots of Hinduism and their adherents cannot therefore consider themselves something unique and distinct like those of Islam, Christianity or Zoroastrianism.

ALL EXCLUSIVIST DOCTRINES ARE SAME AS EACH OTHER

Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil a top Church official from India has described the CPI-M as a 'threat' to democracy and warned that India will suffer the same fate as China did under Mao Zedong in his book Straight From Heart. The influential Cardinal, known for his critical views even on the church establishment, says, 'The Marxist fundamentalism is a greater threat than the religious fundamentalism of the BJP. The Navy, the Army and the Air Force will come under their complete control. We can reasonably expect that what happened in China under Mao will happen in India under their rule.'

Though he is 100% correct about Marxists yet he is wrong about the Catholics and the Sangh Parivar. Any one who believes in converting others to his faith is NOT a believer in pluralism as it is fundamentally contradictory and against it. Thanks to Christianity both Roman and Greek cultures have vanished just as the indigenous cultures of the original peoples (Native Indians) of South and North America, aborigines of Australia and large tracts of tribal Africa etc.

The latest target as spelt out by the previous Pope John Paul II is Asia and India for the latest gathering of “Harvest of Souls” for Christianity. The Sangh Parivar believes that every religion is a path to the same God (Ekam Sat Vipra Vahuda Vadanti) as Hindus have historically shown undiluted tolerance to Jews, Parsis, Christians and Muslims for centuries but have recently become wary of certain conversion and infiltration prone groups who are showing definite signs of altering the faith based demographics of India by taking advantage of this tolerance with the direct connivance of vote seeking politicians who couldn't care less about the cultural future of India.

The paranoid Marxists are a different breed of anti-nationals who do not care about Indian culture as they claim to believe in the Communist International or a culture of the nowhere. Mao Zedong had destroyed the ancient culture of China and his legatees are now decimating the unique culture of Tibet, an independent country that an ever expansionist China had forcefully taken over. Hitler was a one man show as Nazism died with him. But Communism /Marxism have not died with Lenin, Stalin or Mao as the Indian Marxists still publicly swear by them and show all the characteristics of these Godless dictators.

FOOLING THE PEOPLE IS SO EASY THAT IT GOES ON INDEFINITELY

There is nothing new in the Kerala Church dabbling in politics as it is as old as the hills of Munnar. Priests have been regularly standing for elections with tickets from parties who call themselves "secular" by the single virtue of abusing Hindus alone. All of us know that Indian secularism is fully dependent on Hindus for its survival as there is nothing predatory about its tenets for increasing the number of believers. Even though Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of Hindu majority India only 60 years back, secularism became the first casualty the moment they became Muslim majority nations.

Kashmir Valley though in India was ethnically cleansed of all Pandits who are the original settlers before Aurangzeb decided to change things around. Today, due to the preponderance of those to whom secularism is anathema and despite being a part of India, secularism is a decisive casualty in the Kashmir Valley similar to Pakistan. How can there be a minority community in a secular country where all citizens are equal in the eyes of the law? We are all Indians. Only in a theocratic state can there be minorities deserving special considerations. Is this a back door admission of India being a Hindu rashtra (nation) by secularists to indulge in secular games?

A UN Charter states that only when a community consists of less than 10 % of the country’s population can it be termed minority. Yet we keep avoiding this internationally accepted doctrine to keep alive the spurious concept of sham secularism in India for vote bank consideration.

All our major concepts of governance are taken from the British including our antiquated laws. Even though England is not admitted to be a theocratic state, yet the King or Queen is the protector of the Church. When London based author Salman Rushdie was sought to be punished under English laws of blasphemy for his book "Satanic Verses" by his coreligionists, the British govt. stated that the blasphemy laws applied only to those who were denigrating Christianity not Islam. Salman instead was for years given state protection at great cost to the exchequer as he was a minority after Ayatollah Khomeini's death edict or fatwa.

Without retaining the flavour of the monarch being the protector of the leading faith as in Britain, we in India decided to graft the balance portion of the doctrine by inserting the word "secularism" into our Constitution by an amendment by Indira Gandhi to promote minorityism as a state policy thus raising the question whether India was "secular" before this amendment? Physical removal of the yoke of colonisation from a country is easier than its removal from the mind. Whilst Mahatma Gandhi and his associates could achieve the former in their lifetimes, sadly their Party failed to not only remove it from our minds but further ingrained in order to make sham secularism the Magna Carta of Indian politics.

YEH HAI RIGHT CHOICE BABY.

Retaining Varun is the right choice for both tactical as well as strategic reasons. Otherwise the traditional voters of the BJP would have deserted it without those now against it who would never have voted for it. Pilibhit will go to BJP this time.

But if Varun is withdrawn, not only Pilibhit will go but it will show the BJP in bad light for being a Party that lets its own candidates down which will give a handle to its opponents to create dissensions in BJP and NDA. Nor will the BJP's opponents or NDTV and CNN-IBN call it a "secular" Party and give it any positive coverage.

BUT VARUN MUST BE WARNED THAT HE MUST NEVER INDULGE IN ANY HATE SPEECHES AS A MATTER OF DECENCY AND PROPRIETY APART FROM FACING A HOSTILE GOVT.AND CEC.

Whether one accepts it or not, there are thousands of Muslims who vote for the BJP as they sincerely believe that they are not used as a vote bank only by it as the sham secular Parties have been doing for decades. After the 6 years of BJP rule at the Centre they have first hand experience that it is not an oppressive Party as alleged unlike the pseudo-secular parties who use them for electoral gains and then cast them aside for the next 5 years.

The community has also learnt not to listen to their so-called religious leaders on whom to vote for and they also vote for local bread and butter issues which makes them vote differently. Add to that the Central Budget assisted blatant 50 % subsidy to Muslims for annual Haj and pilgrimage tax on Hindus visiting the Amarnath caves or anywhere else.

Muslims can take four wives under a warped legal system and a Kashmiri woman loses her Kashmiri citizenship (sic) if she marries an Indian from another state. But if a Pakistani woman marries a Kashmiri male she becomes an Indian citizen who can own land in J&K which no other Indian citizen can do. What is the message? That Article 370 underscores the fact that J&K is not yet fully integrated into the Indian Union like the other states!

The Muslims as minorities have many rights in India whereas the Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley (Wadi) have been rendered homeless in their own country having been a minority in J&K! Obviously, the minority status is selectively applied in India to the advantage of Muslim only.

How does one expect the average Hindu to react when an anti-God Marxist regime in Kerala takes over management of all his temples in the state, leaving all mosques and other Muslims shrines of profit (including liberal donations from the oil rich Gulf ) alone and pays a monthly pension of Rs. 4000 per month to all retired moulavis of madrassahs from the collections from the hundis of Hindu Devastanam Boards when similar largesse is denied to Hindu archakas from whose temples the money has been collected in the first place? Unless these questions can be honestly answered and corrective steps taken to usher in genuine secularism, this sellout to the vote bank exerting block will make matters worse all around including the concept of secularism itself which only a Hindu majority can ensure. We know that this very secularism that many of us blandly swear by was the first casualty when Pakistan was created as a Muslim El Dorado where Hindus were in insignificant numbers. No change even in Bangladesh when it was delivered with India playing the midwife. The BJP has been asking for Election Commissioner Chawla's removal in every forum for a long time and if the Chief Election Commissioner Gopalswami is/was a RSS man he would have taken the same stand as he did now much earlier. So why was Chawla not removed much earlier? In any case Gopalswami is a toothless tiger as the Congress government is not going to take his advice for removing someone whom they have planted in the CEC in the first place for their sole benefit. The Law Minister who is a Party man has already announced that the next Chief Election Commissioner will be Chawla when the present incumbent Gopalswami retires in April 2009, just before the general elections are held. So much for the Election Commission being an autonomous body that brooks no government interference!

But what is wrong with the RSS? Is it because the vested interests from the pseudo-secular political lobby and the English media want us to believe in their spurious propaganda? We will judge every organisation by its actions and refuse to be brainwashed by predisposed opinion serving vested interests. It could include the Left again (watch what Pranab Mukherji is up to in West Bengal),the DMK, Trinamool, NCP and could include even breaking away a chunk of earlier opportunistic defectors from the BJP(those who are not original Sangh Parivar members)to cobble a majority.

By going in for an understanding with parties centrally now will bind the Congress to only those who are part of the UPA and cause complications to invite those who were originally not taken on board and abused during election campaigns. By declaring that it is going out alone at the central level the Party is also telling potential allies of its seriousness to form the next government as well as to stop trying to blackmail it into bargaining for higher number of seats at its cost.

Afghanistan is a hilly country and difficult terrain dominated by mutually warring tribal thugs called warlords for carrying out conventional wars. Once they come out to the plains it will be easy to decimate them in an open war with some Afghan groups giving support to outsiders for wiping out a traditional enemy like it happened in Bangladesh in 1971.The entire Garrison of 90000 soldiers that meekly surrendered to the Indian Army in 1971 in Bangladesh were the so-called fierce Baluchis and Afghans. Our's is a Parliamentary form of democracy where nearly 900 MPs from both houses legislate. Add to that hundreds or thousands of bureaucrats in the country who actually run India. Advani is going to head a coalition called NDA which will comprise of other parties as well. Therefore, what we need is a calm headed person like Advani who can keep the coalition together which a hot headed youngster is quite incapable of doing. Had our's been a Presidential form like the USA then all this age related capability factors of a single Commander-in-Chief would have been vital like a blundering Bush ordering US Marines into Iraq.

No Indian PM can take such unilateral decision without obtaining a consensus from his Cabinet Ministers or even the Opposition. That is why despite being a Sardar(the brave and valorous Sikhs believe that 1 Sardar is equal to 1.25 lakhs of ordinary humans) a whining Manmohan Singh has a mouse like Pranab Mukherjee issuing veiled threats to Pakistan every evening over TV channels in order to ensure that the BJP does not jump into the Nationalist space.

What has India done on its own after 26/11 except going and crying to the rest of the world? Do we want a government that cannot act on its own but needs crutches to be provided by foreign countries that have their own selfish agendas to fulfill? Just because the Congress Party and its stalwarts depend on its own Mommy staying at 10, Janpath, New Delhi, this government thinks there are several other Mothers out there to provide India with comfort. Tough Luck-just forget it.

NOT GIVING INTO BLACKMAIL IS THE RIGHT MOVE.

Who the hell is this Kalyan Singh? Did he make the BJP or did the Party make him? Despite the BJP having accommodated his girl friend Kusum Rai and his son, Kalyan wants more like all blackmailers do as they can never have enough once their blackmail begins to pay off. The SP deserves him just as he deserves the SP.

We have seen time and again that those who leave the BJP become irrelevant in politics like Uma Bharati, Sankarsinh Vagela, Madanlal Khurana etc., who are now all Kalyan Singh's new found heroes. The back bone of the BJP is the Sangh and not the other way round. When someone from the Sangh joins the BJP he/she jumps from a clean lake into a filthy cesspool-that's why we have so many failed Sayamsevaks like Ram Naik who was a disgrace to the BJP as he gave out petrol pump and LPG gas dealerships against money through his daughter Vishaka Kulkarni and her husband acting as his fronts. That is why he lost to a third rate comedian (Bhand) like Govinda.

Yet though the BJP conveniently forgets it every time the elections are over, without the foot soldiers of the RSS the BJP can never win any elections as Party members are too few and busy looking at their self-interests to bother about the Party unlike the ideologically sound Sangh members as the RSS does not believe in self-propaganda and standing for elections. That brings us to the next problem from within the Party itself and that is the fight between Mass Leaders and Power Brokers. Before winning election, it is the dirty Mass Leaders, who set the agenda. After getting power the Power Brokers, like Kalraj Mishra and Lalji Tandon, take over. It happens in all parties, Congress, BJP, SP, CPI(M), etc. The Agenda is set by guys who cannot even win in a Panchayat election.

Shatrughan Sinha is another fit case for being thrown out of the Party for announcing his own candidature from Patna Sahib. A spent force, a ham actor, he is nothing but a loud mouth who was a failure as a Health Minister as well. Let him stand as an independent or Congress candidate from anywhere and see his deposit being forfeited. Had Advani been not so desperate to become PM and his obsession made known so openly, there would have been fewer blackmailers challenging the BJP today. Next it will be the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, Akali Dal in Punjab and Ajit Singh from a small corner in U.P. Let the BJP get a little more than 150 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections and then you will see ALL Parties barring the Congress and the Communists making a bee line to join the NDA. Today, it seems as if it is the BJP that is running after all the others and that's where it is making a blunder.

What is of special interest is that Indians hold more than all the others put together. At least we can now boast that in some economic activity we are world beaters. Anyone willing to hazard a guess as to what is the percentage of the loot of $ 1456 billions are being held by our politicians?

10 lakhs is one million, 1 crore is 10 million and 1000 million is 1 billion whereas 1000 billion is 1 trillion. And the $1 dollar can be taken roughly @ Rs. 50. Who said India is a poor country?

The fault lies with election system and the political party system. For example, a party like the Congress needs Rs. 20 crore DAILY to run from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kutch to Kohima etc. Where does all this money come from?

ALL political parties in India need crores of cash on a day to day basis, even the Stalinist CPI(M) which gets bulk of its money from China as the undivided CPI used to get it from their fatherland Russia.The rest they collect through 'haftas' from their affiliated trade unions forcefully pulled in from workers who are compelled to become members. The CPI(M) has a trade union for EVERY activity from prostitution to policemen and illegal hawkers who occupy roads to unregistered autos that are polluting Calcutta. The few industries that do exist in CPI(M) ruled States buy peace from disruptive activities of trade unions by paying the Party "peace money" on a regular basis.

Yet they have managed to keep a clean image of themselves unlike other Parties. This also gives them total control over the State they rule as they can manipulate these trade unions to do or not do anything as per the Party's diktat.

INDIAN SECULARISM AND ITS PECULARITIES.

That which we call the Hindu religion is really the eternal religion because it is universal religion which embraces all others. If religion is not universal, it cannot be eternal. As long as India keeps begging others for support it will be kicked around. Starting with the USA all countries believe and practice that their own interests lay above all other considerations, including puny Israel. An ineffective and effete India of Mahatma Gandhi wants to be an exception which results in even insignificant countries like Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh showing India total disregard. Unless India asserts its own priorities as sacrosanct like China does, all other countries will keep playing ducks and drakes with us.

The US President may be all powerful to take a final decision on any matter, but he is surrounded by think tanks and intelligence agencies (CIA, FBI etc.) who are all members of past legacies that keep feeding him with their own views for implementation so that their relevance within the system remains unchanged. Bureaucracies everywhere are the same and the US is no different. Any radical thinking leading to a major change in State policy is likely to cost these bureaucrats their jobs and even ignominy. Also, the President runs the risk of making a blunder by not listening to advises of his advisers and in an open society like the US soon these details are leaked to the media resulting in the President landing up with egg on his face which may result in his not getting re-elected for the second term or his own Party getting a drubbing in the next election due to his mistakes. There is no substitute for India standing on its own legs in matters concerning its own because nobody else is going to do it on its behalf.

BUSH THE INDIA LOVER.

George Bush killed Saddam Hussein who was the only leftist and truly anti-Islamic leader amongst the Arabs all of whom like Osama bin Laden hated his guts. Saddam’s Ba’athist Party was inclined to the Soviet Union who had even pumped in billions of dollars to revamp Iraq’s oil producing structure which the others including America couldn’t digest. The Saudis, Iranians and other monarchies of the Arab countries must have paid Bush to get rid of him in the garb of looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) which Saddam never possessed. Saddam was a true friend of India through thick and thin and every time there was a skirmish with Pakistan he inevitably supported India and rebuked Pakistan. Does any other Muslim country have this track record? Try but you wont find any.

Saddam may have been a tyrant to his people but who gave the right to Bush to invade Iraq? Has America invaded all other oppressive regimes elsewhere? The Americans had put up with Bush the tyrant for 8 years but did any other country declare a war in the U.S.? See what a messy bushfire this Bush had started to the detriment of the Iraqis and the Americans whose economies he has destroyed. And this is the guy whom Manmohan Singh had praised saying all Indians loved him. With whose permission did he say this?

But there is a familiar similarity between Singh and Bush when the latter had stated: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we," in Washington DC, on 5 August, 2004. One may laugh at this Bushism of which there are many, but as Indians it is not funny as to how seriously and effectively our leadership pursues this foolish doctrine of mindless appeasement of our enemies. Every time the Pak Army/ISI keeps bleeding us with new wounds our government and media take up the responsibility of "Not doing anything to destabilise the fragile Pakistani democracy." The Pak Army must be having good laugh that even if they attack India a thousand times the Indians will not do anything to “destabilize” their very own puppet regime which is a mere front of pseudo-democracy.

India is passing through very bad times both economically and politically with enemies like China, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh surrounding us on all sides. The U.S. is more dependent on Pakistan than India but it wants us to buy all our military hardware from them-hence its recent camaraderie with India. The U.S. spends its money for buying friendship from Pakistan whereas it extends friendship to us for making us buy its military hardware in order to counter those they have given as dole to Pakistan.

If youth was the sole panacea for all ills then Buddhadev Bhattacharya would have been a better CM than Jyoti Basu. He has so badly messed up Bengal that now many in the CPI(M)call him the next Gorbachev. How much better was youthful Rajiv Gandhi, who had the biggest mandate any PM ever had in India's history, compared to his old mother?

This is politics which requires experience above all else in order to tackle several problems simultaneously both within and from outside with the calibre of carrying everyone along through a very turbulent 5 year journey. This is not cricket or football where youth means physical stamina. It is an arena where mental stamina/patience is more important than anything else.

Remember Rajiv Gandhi publicly sacking his Foreign Secretary Mr AP Venkateswaran in a Press conference which made everyone gasp in disbelief? He even insulted Nepal's King Birendra at a joint Press conference in presence of Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan and closed all entry points of landlocked Nepal through India causing them immense economic hardship which turned the Nepalese against us ever us since and helping it to become ISI's first base outside Pakistan for attacking India. As Nepali citizens do not need any Visa to enter India at any time, the ISI comfortably pushes jihadis into India via that country. That is the flip side of youth-impatience, impetuosity, high emotions that distances one from the goal. A young George W Bush was even 8 years younger when elected but see what a mess he has made of the world in general and the US. economy in particular. Now compare his track record with that of Ronald Reagan who was one of the oldest U.S. Presidents ever.He broke up the Soviet Union and put an end to the Cold War.

BRING BACK ATALJI THE IMMORTAL.

Rajnath Singh has always been a washout from day one like any other Party leader who has been imposed on it instead of being “genuinely” elected. This pernicious practice had been introduced into the Party by L.K Advani who is basically a weak and insecure person.

Some Thakurs have been historically divisive from the days of Jaichand. Bring back Atalji irrespective of his health. He is in better shape than Fidel Castro or even Arjun Singh and yet they are hanging on. Atalji is merely fed up with the way the BJP has shaped itself into. I remember his once referring to a Talat Mehmood song, “Jaye to jaye kahan,” when a scribed had described him as a good man in a bad Party. His brain is still razor sharp. It is only his knees that make it hard for him to walk. His slow way of speaking now may be a different style statement. It definitely sounds better than the nasal gibberish of Manmohan Singh or badly pronounced Hindi screeching speeches read out by Sonia trying to imitate her mother-in-law in style and failing. His only blot was Ranjan Bhattacharya, the husband of his foster daughter Namita.

With Atalji in-charge all the others in the Party will fall in line and his image is acceptable to all parties in India in case of another coalition with new NDA partners as well. He has always lived up to his life’s philosophy of, “I never hit anyone below the belt.” It is unfortunate that he has become the EL CID of the BJP. Even if he genuinely does not wish to be PM he should announce his willingness now categorically and then decide what to do after having led the Party to victory.

BJP should immediately throw out all those who put their own egos before the Party like it did with Uma Bharati, Madanlal Khurana, Govindacharya, Shankarsinh Vaghela and now Shekhawat (another Thakur) who is just a CM material.

No one is above the Party. And MOST importantly, it MUST win back the trust of the Sangh Parivar whose dedicated cadres can never be substituted for ground work which is the mainstay of winning any election anywhere like the CPI (M) has proved in West Bengal over and over again in the last 32 years. Advani and his chamchas may want him as PM but unless the electorate wants it that way he comes nowhere near that seat. He may be later "persuaded" to occupy it by Atalji declining due to deteriorating health grounds like a modern day Vishma Pitamaha. Who knows, power may work like a miraculous Mrithsanjeevani on him. The only problem is that he being atal (resolute) who is going to plead with him? Let me be the first one with this article.

BLINKERED VISION WITH UNTHINKING MINDS!!

Some of us here are talking of innocent children being killed in Gaza due to Israeli fire. You know why? Because in the media's religion, "Dog biting man is not news but man biting dog is." When the Hamas started firing rockets into Israel do you think it was killing no Israeli kids or were those all blank missiles?

The media loves to play up the effects of Israeli shelling because Palestinians are perceived to be underdogs although ALL the nearly 60 Muslim countries are with them. Unfortunately for the world, its most precious resource today, Oil, is mostly found in Islamic countries. Can you imagine how many trillions of $US are earned every year through exports of this commodity? We all know that, “He who pays the Piper calls the tune”. As Israel has no oil of its own to pay the Piper with hence nobody plays its tune.

If the media was all that impartial as it falsely claims, it would also show equal footage of the devastating effects of Hamas, Yemeni or Syrian shells that daily slam into Israel. The so-called high casualty civilian figures in Gaza are there because like its "Let's Kill for Allah" jihadi fraternity everywhere the Hamas are a bunch of COWARDS who have dug themselves in amongst high density civilian population areas to fire their rockets from. In any such exchange it is normal military practice to follow the trajectory of the missile hitting you and follow its parabola of flight so that your shell lands almost on the same spot from where the shell was fired at you. That is why India bought the BOFORS gun which uses the “Shoot and scoot” technique relocating in seconds from the spot it had fired from so that the return fire lands on empty space vacated.

As missiles can't differentiate between army and civilian targets hence the high Palestinian casualties in Gaza. The Israelis have the right to live too and defend themselves from their enemies. No world opinion or even of its own Left in Israel can take away that right at any time and Israel knows it well. They also know that had there been an Israeli State during the Third Reich, there would have been no holocaust as the Jews were then stateless citizens and the rest of the world were treating them like pariahs. They will ensure that history does not repeat itself. They hardly have a choice.

BAD KARMA AFFECTS EVEN THE GOVERNMENT

Who said that the doctrine of Karma affects only individuals? Right now the Public Sector cartel of government owned Oil companies (PSUs) are seeing a shut down in their operations due to a nationwide strike by their nearly 40,000 officers demanding an overdue legitimate and earlier committed salary and perks hike by the government. It has also badly hit all forms of transport that run on petroleum products on land, sea or air. The highly unionized staffs even though not involved in the present fracas are relishing the situation and extending tacit support to this movement as it will be their turn next to have their own emoluments increased for catching up with that of the officers as it exists now.

The previous NDA government had started the open market regime for petrol/diesel retail prices which reflected the ups and downs of international crude oil prices. The present "populist" UPA government supposedly headed by a world renowned economist had fallen into the anti-market Marxist trap of removing this universally followed proven practice which even poor countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh follow. To make matters even worse this government has removed the earlier committed "level playing field" in the petrol/diesel retail prices by giving their own PSU oil companies huge subsidies to keep prices artificially down to reduce their losses still being incurred that had resulted in private players like Reliance, Essar and Shell shutting shop as they were unable to market their products without huge losses by matching PSU prices minus government subsidies. Their joint complaint is gathering dust with the Petroleum Regulatory Authority set up by the government for correcting such irregularities.

These companies can move court as they have a very strong case in their favour but the repercussions could be detrimental with government reprisals. On earlier occasions whenever the PSU Oil officers or workers went on strike these private players being unaffected kept their pumps open as their officers/workers had no unions to start with. Further, the dealers/operators of these Private Oil companies were not members of the strike hungry Petroleum Dealers' Associations either. Had this myopic government kept the "level playing field" intact this current situation would never have arisen.

It is also a fact that thousands of pump/gas dealerships of PSUs are owned by past/present Ministers/MPs/MLAs who rake in huge unaccounted for profits through selling adulterated and short delivered fuels to the luckless vehicle owners which is simply not possible to be done at any private oil company’s fuel outlets as they are desperate to increase market share through world class service and quickly recover their huge investments in a competitive environment.

THE REAL INDIAN ENRON IS ROUND THE CORNER.

The real Indian Enron is yet to come as most people including knowledgeable people handling Indian corporate matters or the share market movers are purchasable commodities who refuse to see the reality staring at them in the face. These scamsters have huge media budgets to keep our media happy from digging deep into their nefarious activities. Yet, the moment any scandal breaks these same media jokers plaster their former patrons through “Breaking News” streaming and screaming coverage for improving their viewer ship ratings or media circulation.

The scamsters also help themselves to get manipulated prestigious awards which have nothing to do with genuine corporate performance. The real Indian Enron will be the closely held and most unprofessionally crony run family business in the energy sector. They recruit the best professionals in the business paying fat salaries but do not avail of their expertise. These experts are soon frustrated as they have to do the bidding of the owner's cronies and family members, which result in wrong decisions which in turn leads to huge losses in the business as indeed all the businesses that this most hyped Indian corporate entity has been entering have incurred staggering losses. These professionals also cannot just resign and leave as the paycheck is too lucrative to forgo or a matching substitute found in a hurry.

These highly paid experts in their fields are mere window dressing in order to fool the public and stakeholders that the company is in best hands and then the nouveau-riche owners enter the share market with high premium IPOs a substantial part of which they skim off to their personal account and indulge in a vulgar rich lifestyle via highly inflated big projects undertaken for which the IPO was issued. With poor cash flows arising out of repeated business failures the company has even run out of working capital, incurred huge debts from all over which they are desperately trying to service to avoid being defaulters. They are very fast running out of viable options before the bubble bursts. That’s when the Indian Enron will become a reality with disastrous aftermath that will wipe out millions of their hard earned money.

INDIAN POLITICS IS NOTHING BUT TOKENISM TO FOOL INDIANS.

All politicians of all parties are same. It is foolish to claim that if Muslims are elected as MLAs or MPs then automatically all Muslim grievances will be redressed by these politicians from the community.

Despite the Congress (or the Left's) enduring formula of Muslim appeasement when they even had senior ministers and Presidents from the community then why did the Sachar Commission bring out the glaring "neglect" of the Muslim community? It is a myth created by "secular" parties that every community must be represented so that in the event of any mishandling of a situation this acts as an insurance for them as the matter is adjudicated by the community’s representative who will protect his parties interest so that he can get a ticket to get elected again.

Is a genuinely good Hindu politician worse than a thug who is from another community? Why can't a good person from any community genuinely represent all the people in his constituency irrespective of their religion or caste? Is Bihar's gangster Taslimuddin, a minister of the RJD and Lalu Yadav favourite doing any yeomen service to his community? Are the Muslims proud of him? His main contributions are lining his own pockets, killing his opponents and illegally settling Bangladeshi Biharis in his constituency. Lalu Yadav had ruled Bihar for 15 years at a stretch and yet has it improved the economic or social status of the really poor Yadavs of his community? How has Ram Vilas Paswan being a union minister helped Dalits anywhere? Or for that matter U.P Chief Minister Mayavati, another Dalit (backward caste) who sets huge fund collection targets for herself on her birthday every year which led to the killing of an engineer by her cabinet member when he refused to be a part of the looting apparatus?

The sooner we get out of this mind set of "community representation" being a must irrespective of the quality of governance by the Party in power the better it will be for Indian democracy. Otherwise, this mentality of merit less "reservations" will continue to keep us down as a nation.

ALL U.S. PRESIDENTS LEARN ON THE JOB.

With perhaps the sole exception of George Wicked Bush all Presidents have learned on the job. So will Obama. But the main problem is that India never articulates its real needs and other countries misread India's requirements. Indians have not yet learned the subject of politics but indulge in polemics of squabbling with each other like college students indulging in their Union politics of one-up-manship for earning fleeting brownie points.

Their is no long term strategy in any Indian politician's scheme but only short term tactics of immediate political returns. Our politicians keep us divided on caste, creed and reservations considerations of vote bank politics. It not only confuses others about our actual focus but also helps our detractors to take advantage of our fractured unity as Indians. Example, the Left's open support to China and Pakistan in Parliament or by others who have made Muslims appeasement their sole political manifesto of survival which includes all parties.

Despite Israel (having a strong self-destructive Left) being a small country surrounded by dangerous enemies out to wipe it off the map of the globe nobody is in any doubt of its strategies and actions which says "You can love us or you can hate us-but you cannot ignore us". What impression does India invoke around the world? That we are a soft nation which can be kicked around like even non-countries like Pakistan, Nepal or Bangladesh. Everyone loves to be allied with a strong person and enjoys kicking the weak. Why blame Obama of trying to interfere in India’s internal matters beginning with Kashmir? You cannot blame him for concluding that we are soft state and a pushover.

CASTING PEARLS BEFORE SWINE

As long as we have a de facto PM who is a Catholic and a foreigner who suffers from a siege mentality as a minority like some of her Muslim brethren do in India and the ruling Party is the appeasing Congress, such effective and decisive advises will be thrown into the dustbin.

We have a government that wants India to bleed through a 1000 cuts in order to keep a certain section of their conniving vote bank on their side. The whole problem actually lies with a large number of Hindu voters who have fallen into the elitist "pseudo-secular-Left-Liberal" trap for being "politically correct" by voting against Nationalism because this space has been occupied by the saffronites who are considered to be "natives" and therefore uncultured. Hindi, the national language is even derisively called “vernacular”. Shows how little we have progressed from the days of the British Raj, thanks to the British Surrogates who took over ruling India from them on 15th August 1947. Reason why Nehru is called the last Viceroy of India.

The day (at least for once) all Hindus fully vote for any Nationalist Party, all decisive actions for ensuring durable peace and making India terror free will become quite common as it is in Israel or the USA. Unfortunately, Hindus are a badly fragmented lot which results in their enemies having a field day and winning against them all the time. Otherwise, how does Deshdrohis like Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Yadav, Mayavati,Ram Vilas Paswan, Karunanidhi, Congress and the Leftists keep winning elections?

ULFA seems to be most active during Congress rule. Is it a mere coincidence? The father of Muslim infiltration from East Pakistan immediately before and after Partition was Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed whom the Congress later made the President of India. His well preserved Mazaar is even maintained in New Delhi.

It is the Congress which had implemented the IMDT Act that exclusively applies to Assam only and not the rest of India which puts the onus of declaring a Muslim infiltrator from Bangladesh that he is an infiltrator on the person accusing him to be so. Otherwise he is considered to be a bona fide Indian citizen !! In the rest of India it is for the infiltrator to prove that he is an Indian citizen !! Can you beat it ?? And yet the Assamese and other North Eastern citizens keeps voting this anti-national party back to power all the time. Are they interested in becoming a part of an expanded Bangladesh to be carved out of India after a few years from now?? Already, several districts of Assam have become Muslim majority with the local and ethnic population playing second fiddle arising out of rampant Muslim infiltration and uncontrolled baby production by those who can have up to four wives at a time.

PROGRESS OF INDIAN NATIONALISM UNSTOPPABLE. BUT…….

Unless the BJP shoots itself in the foot again it is unstoppable. Notice that even in J&K where the BJP as been a fringe player all this while it is "BJP versus the rest (read pseudo-secular)". The BJP should try to get back its "Party with a difference" stance instead of blindly following Advani's mantra of becoming a clone of the Congress as he is in a terrible hurry to become the next PM. He should believe that "what is allotted cannot be blotted". If he is destined to be PM he will be PM if not no power on earth or beyond can make him the PM. His mantra is that the BJP has to occupy the Congress space as vacuum cannot exist in nature. But it has to be done in a unique manner not by becoming a clone of a discredited, despotic and corrupt dispensation of sycophants. Advani should reinvent himself as a true leader who elects future leaders from the bottom up instead of imposing his selections from the top, as like everything in life, change is the only constant, even in a political party. Example the debacle in Rajasthan with Ms Raje who is not even a Rajasthani.

It is the grassroots that keep in touch with the masses/voters not the leaders who are constantly living in their Ivory towers thanks to the free media coverage they are getting all the time. Pontification does not get votes for the party but grassroots contact and hard work there 365 days a year does. Learn from the Left in West Bengal the only cadre based group in India today, a position the BJP forsook to become another mass based party like the Congress.

You will need to study the Bengal phenomenon as to why the Commies-read CPM and not the CPI which is virtually non-existent anywhere-have been ruling a single State for over 3 decades. One will have to see how seriously the Left takes being in power forever takes. For them it is a 24x7x365 days job. They even know who votes for whom in West Bengal so that they can disenfranchise those whom they know vote for opposition parties. They rig elections, jam polling booths, threaten and chase away observers of other parties and before that they even threaten opposition candidates from filing their nominations so that the Left candidates can "win" unopposed.

But all this takes dedication of the highest order unlike polluted "Mass based" parties of “Aya Rams and Gaya Rams” (here today gone tomorrow) who raise emotive issues just three months before any election hoping to cash in on voter cupidity so that they can relax for the balance 4 years and 9 months!

You can't keep fooling the people perpetually with only emotive issues. You have to work on the ground throughout the year with dedicated cadre who will ensure victory for their party and not depend on the voters being swayed by electoral speeches/rhetoric of their so-called national or state leaders. In such a scenario such a party can do well only if its opponents have become hate objects triggering a negative vote. I am talking of a positive vote where people vote FOR a party and not AGAINST another. That’s where Lal Kishenchand Advani’s success lay after which he had wrongly hogged kudos for being a formidable organizer. That is why he is such a failure now.

As long as an irrational and immature Mamata Banerji remains the sole alternative to the Left in Bengal, the Left rule will continue in perpetuity. Due to the strategic blunders of the impatient Vajpayee-Advani duo, the BJP today is non-existent in West Bengal after the local unit was tied to Mamata’s sari pallu like a parasite that had no legs (roots) of its own to stand on.

LIKE PAKISTAN THE CONGRESS ALSO TRIED TO CREATE A DIVERSION

The war hysteria being built up by Pakistan till recently was to successfully divert the world's attention away from their having been caught out with their hands in the cookie jar after the Mumbai terrorist attack. It also helped the Congress govt. to join issue and allowed it to flex its unused muscles to fool the people.

But the biggest hoax was almost pulled off by the Congress through one of its own- Diggy Raja aka Digvijay Singh, ex-CM of Madhya Pradesh when he floated a blatant lie when he stated that the Mumbai terrorists had wanted to bargain with the release of their hostages in the Mumbai hotels against their comrades in Indian custody. But the "resolute" Congress said an emphatic NO as they refused to buckle under any terrorist blackmail as Diggy elaborated. How this jerk and his handlers in his Party expected us to believe this hogwash is anybody's guess.

This lie was resorted to in order to draw a parallel with the Kandahar hijack and show up the then BJP govt. in bad light for having buckled under the hijackers' threats of blowing up the hijacked Airbus 300 along with all its passengers. But Desperate Diggy was soon exposed by members of his own govt. a few days later when it denied any such thing having taken place.

As the BJP is not being given a fair share of its due in the English media it should try and start another mass contact program across India to go to the people directly to explain its position instead of some of its leaders putting on their best clothes and make-up for mouthing half baked views on various TV channels only. But will they brave the cold and fog on the road and get out of the comfort of TV Studios? Is Advani listening or is he too impatient to become the next PM through a patchwork coalition?

WHAT INDIA SHOULD DO NOW

Instead of Pranab Mukherji continuing with a verbal slug fest with the Pak Army's puppet govt. in Pakistan, we should continue to apprise the world community of every nation including those against us that Pakistan is THE nursery of World Terrorism and no nation including China (battling the Uighur Muslims in their Xingjian region in Western end of China) is immune or safe from this lethal cancer.

Simultaneously, India should encourage Israel's MOSSAD to eliminate the leaders of the perpetrators of the Mumbai carnage operating out of Pakistan as Israel wants to avenge the death of Jews killed by the Paki Jihadis when they attacked Nariman House in Mumbai on 26/11. India should hand over all the latest data and locational details of the handlers of the terrorists living in Pakistan including Dawood Ibrahim which India routinely gathers through RAW so that MOSSAD can take them out clandestinely. Since Pakistan denies that these vermin live within Pakistan they cannot suddenly protest that their prominent citizens have been suddenly killed by outside forces. It will also put the fear of Allah in all those who are living including the ISI, Army brass and politicians once for all. Israel should next target the nuke bomb sites in Pakistan as these bombs called Islamic bombs can be dropped on Israel too by Pakistan handing over a few to Iran whom they have sold AQ Khan's nuclear technology and equipment procured from China and North Korea.

No better option seems to be available to India now, specially since the govt. is no more dependent on the pro-Pakistan Indian Left for its survival. If India can pull this off nobody can stop the Congress from romping home to power with its own majority at the Centre in the next general elections in April 2009. But will the Italian female oblige or can the weakling Sardar behave like a Singh (Lion) for once? "Singh is King" did someone sing recently after India had signed the nuclear power deal with the USA? He seems to have gone back to his meowing days instead of roaring like a lion for which his martial community is famous for the world over. That earlier roar must have been a playback by someone else from the background.

WHAT INDIA SHOULD NOW DO IN RETALIATION AGAINST PAKISTAN.

1. Snap all diplomatic relations immediately.

2. Snap all trade ties as well and all imports and exports with Pakistan to be stopped immediately.

3. Declare Pakistan a terrorist State.

4. Discontinue all trains and bus services as well as trade and business transactions.

5. Announce renegotiation of the Indus Water Treaty as the terms unduly favour Pakistan. Stop water supply to Pakistan.

6. Begin a process to regulate the water supplies and build new mechanisms to activate water flow controls.

7. Cancel permission for all types of over flights over Indian territory/air space.

8. Seal the Nepal and Bangladesh borders on a priority basis as both these countries offer logistical support to Pakistan for subversive activities against India.

9. Build a grand alliance of democracies by increasing their stakes in the burgeoning economic pie of India, to leverage their support against authoritarian regimes on our border including Pakistan.

10. Increase FDI limits in the Defence sector from 26 percent to 49 percent. This will help India to emerge as a self-reliant and most modern technology driven defence industry hub in Asia while making it profitable for Western companies to invest.

11. Start the same dirty proxy war against Pakistan by training Indian youths to act like jehadis and be sent to Pakistan to get training. Infiltrate the Pakistani intelligence by these Indian jehadis.

12. Support all the secessionist groups in Pakistan who want independence like Baluchistan, Sind etc.

But the million dollar question is: Will a historically Muslim appeasing political parrty like the Congress ever take such steps to put India's interests above compulsions of Muslim votes?

Only touts like Rajiv Shukla and Suresh Kamladi of the Congress will insist that we play cricket in Pakistan, when security experts are pressing the government to even cut off all diplomatic ties with the rogue nation. How come Pakistan does not feel insecure about their permanent Indian residents and cultural terrorists like singer Adnan Sami being attacked in India? Who are they trying to fool by equating themselves with India by pulling out of squash and hockey tourneys in a tit-for tat reaction? Just because they WILL attack Indian players in their country they are trying to equate us with themselves as if India is another rogue nation where there is no rule of law anywhere?

With the Congress in power and a very large Muslim population in India who vote, unfortunately due to no fault of the Indian Muslims themselves the Congress and other similar parties who believe in their self-created myth of Muslim voting en bloc- has rendered the Indian nation into state of paralysis from adopting a doctrine of ZERO TOLERANCE AGAINST TERROR like other civilised and more genuine democratic countries around the world.

With such a bunch of politicians in charge of running this country both within and outside the ruling bloc we should permanently brace ourselves for more terror strikes anywhere in the country where the timing and choice of venue will be at the sole discretion of Pakistan. We now even believe in another myth created by the ruling clique that it is in India's interest that the puppet civilian government survives in Pakistan. Or else the Pak Army will take over. As if this lame duck dispensation that is an apology for being called a government is not under the full control of the army even now.

BARKING DOGS DON'T BITE!

The Congress Party in power at the Center is a barking dog that will NEVER bite! Least of all a Party of bangle wearing males led by an imported female who knows very little of the Indian ethos. If they were at all keen to strike back at Pakistan they would have done it long ago and NOT after so much Sabre rattling. Since they have already decided that they won't strike hence they have been barking.

Today if Pakistan itself were to make a few attacks on itself or ask China to do so to make it look like an outside job and blame India for doing it, many would believe them- thanks to the war hysteria the lily livered Pranab Mukherjee has been daily drumming up with his “All options are open” bluff.

To make matters worse the principle opposition party the BJP is today bereft of any principles save and except of dreaming of making Advani the next Prime Minister of India. When you work with such a narrow agenda of making someone a Prime Minister you lose focus on the issues that concerns the country. In fact it is the addressing of the right issues that should prompt the people to vote for a Party as they are not in love with any candidate to push him/her into the PM's chair and Advani just does not have that kind of popularity rating due to his shifting stands in order to keep the rump NDA intact whose other constituents are Congressites with different names.

In other words, Advani wishes to become PM with the agenda of its allies instead of its own which it did earlier as “a party with difference”. Where is that slogan now? How different are they now from those whom they wish to replace? Today the BJP is a third rate Congress clone whilst the Congress is grabbing the BJP's nationalist plank with spineless Pranab Mukherjee daily issuing empty threats via the media to Pakistan. India can and should make sudden surgical air strikes on LeT camps to expose Pakistan internationally that such camps do indeed exist in its territory. India in fact has all the equipment to carry out such blitzkriegs from the air without having to cross over the international boundary through missiles from high above. If India lacks the know-how after having psyched itself into acquiring the political will to do so it can seek covert advise from Israel who are not only the world’s greatest authority on the subject but they would also gladly oblige.

OPEC IN A CLEFT STICK.

Oil like most commodities is demand driven and not supply driven as OPEC and company are finding out the hard way. All oil producing countries have reached a point where they need a minimum of huge oil revenues to keep their economies above water. If they sell less oil they earn less which may be below this base level. Therefore, they cannot keep cutting back on production as demand falls globally that will result in lower quantum of their oil revenues which is never enough. In any case, most oil producers as a rule exceed their quotas as they sell their produce "surreptitiously" of which all are aware.

As the severe economic downturn is worldwide, consuming countries will be forced to keep their oil consumption to stringent levels if the price of oil rises. Russia which had become a non-entity in world politics during the time of Boris Yeltsin because of economic bankruptcy has now once again begun to flex its muscles in the international arena due to its buoyant economic strength which is almost solely oil revenue driven. Recently Russia had even surpassed Saudi Arabia as the highest exporter of oil for a short period. It will be foolish of them to join up with OPEC's plans of reducing oil supplies at the cost of oil revenues on which they are so dependent. Further, with the vested interests from the US Texas oil lobby having been voted out of power, the global oil scenario will be very much different once Barack Obama takes over. Above all, this century’s energy needs will be more natural gas driven than oil driven, both due to environmental concerns as well as the dwindling supplies of crude oil which will be soon running out in a few decades from now.

WHITHER LEVEL PLAYING FIELD?

There seems to be a conspiracy here. With the private oil companies shutting down their entire petrol retail trade the entire business has shifted to the PSU cartel which the Government of India (GOI) is now subsidizing 100% with the Indian citizens’ hard earned money. If the GOI provides the even playing field as committed earlier to the private players like Reliance, Shell and ESSAR by extending the subsidy to them also in that case the GOI does NOT pay out ANY EXTRA subsidy as the demand for petrol/diesel is inelastic. But the GOI is not interested in world class service that the private oil companies provide which will contribute to the PSU cartel losing market share to the private players as indeed it did when the private players had a level playing initially.

The more the PSU dealers sell their adulterated and short delivered fuel to hapless vehicle owners the more money they make due to lesser working capital employed as also the “extra” fuel sold being unaccounted for and hence tax free. It may also be noted that thousands of petrol pumps, kerosene and gas agencies are owned by past and present Ministers, MPs, MLAs, bureaucrats and their family members, cronies or henchmen since time immemorial directly or in benami. The numbers of such perpetually lucrative dealerships are owned in direct proportion to the number of years a political party has been in power at the Centre ever since the government had regulated the petroleum retail trade after taking it over from the private multinational companies. This has resulted in this business today being dominated by a politically backed oil mafia who are beyond the control of the law or the government oil companies. Recall the gruesome murder of the IOC official in Uttar Pradesh at the hands of this same mafia. To make matters worse whilst Ministers make public speeches promising stern action against such elements, privately they ensure that none of their cronies or henchmen are touched by any of the agencies concerned.

At the same time Government is killing two birds with one stone. First, by depriving the private players of the subsidy it is projecting a spurious image that it is not influenced by the private players and second that it is "saving" the subsidy that would have to be paid to Private players. As the price of crude oil has fallen drastically and the PSU cartel is making huge margins, all the GOI has to do in order to save itself from a permanent headache is to take out petrol and diesel from the ambit of subsidies and oil bonds and throw it open to all players and leave it to them to fix their own prices. With competition amongst the Oil companies all of them will not only reduce their selling prices to retain/regain market share but will also drastically improve their services to customers. This will also improve the bottom lines of upstream oil companies like ONGC, GAIL and OIL who are today forced by the government to be a part of the subsidy sharing mechanism at a great cost to the country’s and their efforts at improving our self-reliance in oil.

The actual demand for kerosene used as domestic cooking and lighting fuel is only one third of what is allocated by the GOI that is consumed in the villages. The balance two thirds allotted to the urban areas is diverted for illegal uses fetching a huge premium to the politically powerful people who control this business. Example: How many people do you actually know in your city who actually use kerosene or even draw their quotas from ration shops for personal use? Where does the huge “lapsed” quota go? The price of petrol in Delhi today is Rs. 45.65 and diesel Rs. 32.86 per litre after the recent price reduction. Kerosene rules around Rs. 9 per litre. Even if 10 % of kerosene is used to adulterate Petrol without seriously affecting the anti-knock properties of petrol see the resultant unaccounted profit a petrol pump owner earns on every litre of petrol sold. The properties of diesel and kerosene being almost identical both being middle distillates in the petroleum hierarchy any amount of kerosene can be used as an adulterant without the vehicle driver realizing the nature of the fuel being used in his vehicle. Now if we calculate the volume of petrol and diesel being sold in the country one can have a shock realization of the mind boggling amounts of money involved in this huge scam successive governments have been carrying out in the name of the “aam admi”. Actually, the huge annual outlay made by the government for cheap kerosene is solely for the benefit of the adulteration business that fills many coffers as the poor hardly get it at the price fixed for it even in the countryside. By reducing its allocation to one third for the rural areas alone a huge saving can be made. This same kerosene but with a slight modification called aviation turbine fuel or ATF is what is used by all jet and turboprop aircraft in the country. Yet GOI can only keep raising the price of ATF and cripple the aviation business rather than stop the spurious activity of subsidized kerosene diversion to illegal ventures.

But with general elections round the corner the ruling party wants to fool the public by gimmickry by again reducing the prices close to the election dates apart from the vested interests raking in the unaccounted moolah mentioned earlier. Recommendations on similar lines by the GOI 's own PPAC which has replaced the earlier OCC is gathering dust within the Ministry of P&NG in Shastri Bhavan. Further, hopes that something positive would emerge from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), on the petition filed by three private oil companies — Reliance, Shell and Essar have remained just that- high hopes. Many months ago the petition had asked the regulator to initiate adjudication proceedings against the oil PSUs cartel that indulges in unfair and restrictive trade practices in the sale of transportation fuels but as with all GOI sired bodies this too is a paper tiger as the occupant of this chair owes his continuance in the job to the blessings of the minions of the Ministry of P&NG. It is interesting to recall what the Prime Minister, an economist had promised eons ago on 9th November 2004:

PM promises MNCs oil regulator

At an interaction with chief executive officers of European and Indian corporates last night, Singh also made it clear that India will adhere to all the commitments already at the World Trade Organisation, "I recognize that whoever comes to invest in India is entitled to expect a level-playing field. The government is in fact in the process of doing that. An independent and credible Petroleum Regulatory Authority will be set up," he told Jeroen van der Veer, chairman, Board of Management, Royal Dutch Shell, who was designated to take over as chairman of the whole Anglo-Dutch Shell Group after the forthcoming merger of the UK and Dutch branches, the first non-British Chairman of the combined firm.

Public memory is short but it is the job of analysts to remember the past and bring it repeatedly to public notice for their and the nation’s benefit. Only a strong public opinion based on facts can keep democracy vibrant and self-serving politicians at bay for all times. It will also compel the media to correctly reflect public mood and opinion instead of the media manipulating public thinking.

NO AFFIRMATIVE ACTION NEEDED HERE!

The loudest message given out through Barrack Obama's victory is that in life one does not need RESERVATION POLICIES to become the most powerful man in the world. After all, God made us all equal, not black and white or high and low. For centuries the Blacks in America were treated no better than our ancestors treated some of our brethren in the name of caste. Only those who are mentally handicapped need the crutch of a divisive and initiative killing RESERVATION POLICY like we have in India since over last 6 decades and its ambit is increasing.

In America they call it AFFIRMATIVE ACTION and yet Obama did not invoke this in order to win hands down against a white man who is a war hero. And in America a war hero is invincible- until Obama came along. Obama said he represented the entire American population and never even once alluded to the fact that he was a black and therefore needed the voters' charity. In India only rogues like VP Singh,Arjun Singh, Mayabati & Ram Vilas Paswan gain from the reservation policies-never those for whom these policies have been made in the first place.

THROW OFF THOSE BLINKERS AND LOOK AT REALITY.

Despite mouthing homilies like God is one and all roads lead to the same destination, the conversion business is thriving. After all, all Gods are equal but some Gods are more equal than others! Especially those who need conversions to survive.

The Christian God is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5; Deuteronomy 4:24)whilst the Prophet(PBUH) of Arabia asserted that there is no God but Allah. We hear it over loudspeakers five times a day blaring from every mosque in order to appease the second majority .

Being new religions as compared to Hinduism or Judaism, both these faiths HAD TO convert others to their faith or they could not increase in numbers and unless you have sizable numbers you don't have political power and survive as a community. That’s why we are all stymied by vote-bank politics in India. Look at the Parsees and Zoroastrianism-almost at vanishing point. The Greek religion, pre-Islamic Egypt, all gone. Similarly, if Hindus vanish so will Hinduism. The only Hindu Rashtra Nepal has ceased to exist having fallen prey to another predatory ism-Marxism. And if the traditionally meek Hindus refuse to vanish they are called hostile against their aggressors even though conversion is anathema to pluralism or a multicultural society as the status quo is disturbed even as Hindus dwindle in numbers while others grow at their cost. This way one day we will end up like Muslim majority Kashmir or Pakistan earlier where secularism and pluralism, by which the minorities or elitists are now swearing, are the first casualties with the Hindus on the run from their oppressors.

Minority aggression surfaces due to State support against protesting Hindus who unfortunately vote as a disparate group and the myopic "secular" politician fully exploits it. The practice of “secularism” in India is an elitist concept which is practiced by those whose value systems are dictated by standards of the West in order to be counted amongst the “progressive” and ”forward” looking. Due to peer pressure, very few can resist what is the fashion of the day as our TV induced degeneration, in all walks of life clearly shows. Today, “secularism” seems to have become almost mandatory. All those who are pontificating about the VHP and Bajrang Dal being “terrorist” are usually sitting in front of English channel TVs or reading English newspapers and swallowing drivel with their own intelligence shut off. They will not take the trouble to verify the facts with someone who is a native of the areas where these skirmishes are taking place or even look at non-English sources of information. The TV hostess increases the hype with a shrill voice and keeps a poll chart on her side to trick the less intelligent viewer into falling into the trap of voting along her line of argument unless the poll itself is rigged to begin with. These busy bodies being elitists move around in sophisticated circles where a lot of foreign interests are involved like the diplomatic corps that being pleased with the services being rendered would invite them to their countries and pile lavish gifts on them before they return.

Indian films highlighting India’s poverty usually get their directors awards at international film festivals. This toadying to the white-skinned West at all times including allowing the country to be led by such a one today by India’s oldest political party is an old weakness of Indians as a result of 1000 years of slavery. It was Swami Vivekananda who had stated in his speeches and recorded in his Complete Works that “A Hindu converted is not only a Hindu less but an enemy more.” If the so-called minorities do not provide the provocation through their anti-Indian activities the VHP/Bajrang Dal will not have any cause for protests. Like without Godhra there would have been no Gujarat riots. By banning them today they will merely adopt another name tomorrow and carry on in a seamless manner as it is these dedicated souls who are out to protect Hindu society that is under siege and not organizations with various names. Let us now look at the progress report of the Christian Church:

With a historic map marking Vasco da Gama's route to India adorning the backdrop, Pope John Paul II, on a three-day visit to India, held a special function with the bishops of the Asian Synod "to seal the fruits of the Synod which was celebrated in Rome" in May 1998. He signed the document "Ecclesia in Asia", which will serve as a blueprint for the activities of the Roman Catholic Church in the region for the new millennium. It is quite interesting to know that this Pope has been called God’s Politician and there is also a book by that name.

The map in the backdrop only underlined what the Pope proclaimed in the 140 page document in a language which leaves no scope for any interpretation:

"Just as in the first millennium the Cross was planted in the soil of Europe and in the second in that of the Americas and Africa, we can pray that in the third Christian millennium a great harvest of faith will be reaped in this vast and vital continent" ie, Asia which includes India. Evangelization had to be "an absolute priority" for the church in Asia, the Pope said, and the Synod was "an ardent affirmation of faith" in Jesus and remained a "call to conversion".

"In presenting the fruits of the Synod's work...you, the bishops, are being asked to make ever greater efforts to spread the gospel of salvation through the length and breadth of the human geography of Asia", the Pope said.

The Christian clergy promised them ‘everything under the sun’ when they were allured to embrace Jesus as their only savior. In their enthusiasm to harvest souls and show increase in numbers, the cunning Christian priests assured the indigent non-Christian population not only economic prosperity but also equal status as human beings ‘unlike in Hinduism’. But in practice, all promises and assurances turned out to be a big hoax. As a resut, this year’s Holy Week (March 16 to 22), the week that precedes Easter Sunday, was observed as “untouchability protest week” in several parts of northern Tamil Nadu. This was in response to a call given by the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) and the Dalit Christians’Liberation Movement to highlight the plight of converted Dalits in the Christian community. At least 10 churches in Cuddalore and Villupuram districts had to go without or curtail the ceremonies that usually begin with Palm Sunday, celebrated in commemoration of the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. In some places Dalits hoisted black flags atop churches and in a few others they locked up the places of worship. Demanding justice to Dalit Christians (sic), VCK general secretary Thol. Thirumavalavan led a demonstration on March 19 near the Bishop’s House. The immediate provocation was violence against Dalits by “upper caste” Christians (sic) at Eraiyur in Villupuram district on March 9. Vanniar Christians (upper caste Christians) carrying sticks, poles, iron rods, and stones.

The right of holding slaves is clearly established in the Holy Scriptures, both by precept and example," Rev. R. Furman, D.D., a Baptist pastor from South Carolina.

The Christian church's main justification of the concept of slavery was based on the "curse of Ham" which appears in the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) in Genesis 9:25-27.

"Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers. He also said, 'Blessed be the Lord, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.’”

Christians believed that Canaan had settled in Africa and India and that his descendants had become black. Slavery is still advocated in North America by some Reconstructionist Christians and a few Christian Identity movements. At its heart, American slavery was a brutal system based upon physical force, threats, torture, sexual exploitation, and intimidation. Any black resisting overtly the orders of a slaveholder, or almost any white in the community, could expect immediate and often brutal retaliation. Few laws prevented slaveholders from doing whatever they wanted with their human property. Accepted methods of punishment for slaves included verbal rebukes, a few "cuts" with a stick or riding whip, kicks to the body, boxing of ears, confinement in corn cribs or tool sheds, branding on the flesh of the hand or head with a hot iron applied for 20 seconds like cattle in an American ranch and mutilation of the body by clipping the ears, breaking legs, severing fingers, and slitting tongues.

Not much different as to what our Secular Fundamentalists would like to do to those of us who did not fall in line with their line of thinking, even in this 21st Century?

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOON.

Everyone one of us knows and believes that the vast majority of Muslims is moderate, tolerant and wishes to forge ahead in life. Yet, it is like the other side of the moon; everyone knows it is there but no one has seen it. From poets to the denizens of the forests, all have been mesmerized by its glowing face as the moon has no means to show its other face. Of course, the majority of Muslims wish to get ahead with life but their silence is taken as their acquiescence because they are an otherwise assertive community that dares to be openly different in appearance and in many daily overt practices from the vast majority all around them. But since the British times and possibly even earlier during Muslim rule, the elite Muslims in India have been enjoying a large amount of patronage from the rulers. Whilst, the British did it deliberately as a policy of divide and rule by keeping its support with the Muslims, during the earlier Muslim rule the community took it for granted that they belonged to the ruling class. That is how the community came to be accepted as a special class that required deft handling in comparison to the vast majority of Hindus in whom it was dinned into their psyche that they must make all the sacrifices like the elder brother of the Hindu family does for his belligerent younger siblings and put up with their tantrums. This pernicious practice continued to be passed down from generation to generation of Hindus who were more concerned about their own caste equations than the non-caste aliens who ruled them. Today, it is in their DNA.

It is an accepted fact that a spoilt brat constantly needs mollycoddling as it is used to being spoilt silly by its parents. Being a malcontent and maladjusted the pampered child refuses to integrate with others wherever it is treated at par with others without any special favours to which it is accustomed. It either sulks alone or tries to bully others to get what it wants. That is why the Delhi and U.P. Muslims were more concerned with “innocents” being harassed in Jamianagar than the death of an exceptionally brave police officer who was trying to bring a clutch of hardened Islamic terrorists to book for randomly murdering innocents through bomb blasts in Delhi and elsewhere.

Contrary to popular belief, most terrorists today are well educated and some even come from affluent backgrounds, so the root cause theory of poverty being the driving force behind terrorism does not hold. Despite strong denials of demonizing the entire Indian Muslim community for being sympathetic to the terrorists’ cause, Centrist and Left politicians inevitably take a soft stand when it comes to appropriately dealing with Islamic militants both before and after every act of violence indulged in by them as if it will rub the entire community the wrong way. As a result, the terrorist elements get away easily being let off for vote bank considerations of politicians to whom the nation comes later.

Hindu society is under siege from several sides today due to the narrow minded survival instincts of Indian politicians. Another grave man made problem that India faces is the carte blanc given to those who with missionary zeal wish to reduce the Hindu population through conversion to alien faiths that are incompatible to the Indian way of life that only Indic faiths can offer. Swami Vivekananda had said that a Hindu converted is not only a Hindu less but an enemy more. Mahatma Gandhi also expressed similar views against conversion. Those so-called liberals and leftists who put great stress on multiculturalism and pluralism contradict themselves when it comes to taking the logical step against conversions that is anathema to these very concepts they loudly espouse from every known forum.

The current aggressive Hindu is like an antigen that an infected body produces in order to save itself from a disease. Simply put, if there is no viral attack on the body no antigen or antibody will be produced. And yet, it has taken a long time in coming after hundreds of riots, the Partition of the country and the naked non-resisted ethnic cleansing of Pandits from the Kashmir Valley as well. Many believe that fear is the key that a certain group wields blatantly which results in affected apologists springing up in its defense for self-preservation. The aggressive Hindu is merely replicating this time tested formula of success from its adversary. But it runs foul of general biased opinion of Left-liberals as because for centuries since the Hindu community has endured every assault and privation stoically it dare not change the pattern now, assert itself and make its disagreement known. After all, the pluralists aver, even in nature the roles of predator and the hunted are inexorably inviolable. Those Hindu bodies that openly defy this inverted logic for self-survival are equated with Islamic terrorists who are the perpetrators of destruction of the Hindu ethos itself.

The Christian Church is at the forefront of the conversion business in India as their adherents are diminishing in the West with good reasons. The head of the Anglican Church, the Archbishop of Canterbury had blasted Tony Blair for attending Sunday mass in a Roman Catholic Church with his wife who is a Catholic. The Church today is fragmented into at least 600 denominations and still counting. Let it keep busy converting each of its denominations within each other but just let them leave us Indians alone. The Christians who were present at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 after hearing Swami Vivekananda had collectively stated that the depth of Hinduism was so vast that the Hindu required no other religion and Christian missionaries labouring away at evangelical activities in India were wasting their time.

Finally, if only a predisposed media and vote-bank seeking politicians stay out of it, we Indians will never want to fight with each other as we will have to live side by side and grow together and not at the cost of each other. But will they leave us alone?

There is no point in saying that L.K. Advani is a Pakistani as he was born in Karachi. Advani was born in India as Pakistan was born only in 1947 just as Jinnah, whose father was a Hindu convert to the Ismaili sect of Islam, was born in Gujarat.

When Jinnah asked for Pakistan he also wanted 100 percent population exchange as otherwise the Partition was meaningless as it was based on the view that Hindus and Muslims being poles apart in their world view could not stay together for which he demanded a separate Muslim nation. Even B.R. Ambedkar insisted upon population exchange. History bears out the fact that it was mainly the "British by education, Muslim by culture and accidentally a Hindu by birth" Nehru who was feeling insecure in the company of Hindu Congressmen like G.B. Pant, Rajendra Prasad, Tandon, Sardar Patel and many others that he wanted the Muslims to stay back so that he could use them as a shield to outflank them in the truly Indian dominated Congress even after he had conceded Pakistan, which some say Gandhi was against.

The same reason why Kashmir valley saw ethnic cleansing of Hindus so that it became a Muslim parcel of India that wanted to secede to Pakistan the illusory El Dorado for the subcontinent’s misguided Muslims. If Hindu and Sikh refugees from Pakistan were allowed to settle in Kashmir it could have been another Jammu where there is no communalism just like in the Punjab where near total population exchange took place in 1947. But Nehru and later his progeny would have none of it in the name of his false doctrine of Kashmiriyat which in reality today is as rabid as the Taliban. Imagine Kashmiriyat without Hindus in Kashmir.

Hinduism needs to survive because it alone being accommodative and inclusive can show the right path to the rest of the world for lasting peace. Look at Pakistan today. It is singing the tune that says “a blast a day will keep peace at bay”, whether it is in its own territory or elsewhere.

Today, the Frankenstein of religious Jihad Pakistan had created against India is swallowing it up very fast. Today, its best friend the US is attacking it in its own soil for eradicating this same world destructing virus. Thus only a Hindu India can save Muslims provided our home-made secularists allow it. And don’t call the Muslims in India as the minority community as in reality they are the effective majority when their numbers combine with our domestic secularists who are more concerned about Muslim interests than the Muslims themselves. Earlier it used to be the false root cause theory and justification for the violence, the cause being poverty and illiteracy. There are no Babri demolition or Gujarat riots in other parts of the world and yet these freaks are killing innocents there which includes Muslim countries too. Of course, the vast majority of Muslims wish to get along with their lives and march in tune with the times. But if anyone of them comes forward to reveal the shady activities of their coreligionists, there will be serious repercussions. Islam being a monolithic faith it is easy for the mullahs, Muftis, Kazis, Imams, Hafiz etc. to threaten the laity with dire consequences like not burying their dead, solemnizing their daughter’s marriage, or son’s circumcision as well as exhorting the community to boycott the so-called transgressors. See the torture meted out to the progressive elements like Asghar Ali Engineer of the tiny Dawoodi Bohra community for defying the Syedna’s diktats.

But perceptible changes are taking place like religious heads now openly declaring that there is no place for killing of innocents in Islam in the name of Jihad. This movement would have gathered a greater momentum only if political parties did not derail the campaign in order to keep the community ghettoized for vote bank considerations. If the Muslim vote also became fragmented in their voting patterns like the Hindus it would increase the nightmares of all politicians.

In these times of coalition governments comprising of multiple disparate elements in the fray as no single Party is in a position to form a government on its own anymore, even a small margin of vote becomes very crucial for victory of a candidate who can then dictate his price for lending his support. No wonder, the sops being granted and utterances being made by the government and other political parties are getting weirder by the hour.

The concept of Jihad is taken from Christianity. Just go to the Book of Joshua in the Bible and read about the Fall of Jericho. Being new religions as compared to Hinduism or Judaism, both these faiths HAD TO convert others to their faith or they could not increase in numbers and unless you have sizable numbers you don't have political power and survive as a community. That’s why we are all stymied by vote-bank politics in India. Look at the Parsees and Zoroastrianism-almost at vanishing point. The Greek religion, pre-Islamic Egypt, all gone. Similarly, if Hindus vanish so will Hinduism.

The only Hindu Rashtra Nepal has ceased to exist having fallen prey to another predatory ism-Marxism. And if the traditionally meek Hindus refuse to vanish they are called hostile against their aggressors even though conversion is anathema to pluralism as the status quo is disturbed even as Hindus dwindle in numbers while others grow at their cost. This way one day we will end up like Muslim majority Kashmir or Pakistan earlier where secularism and pluralism, by which the minorities are now swearing by, are the first casualties. Minority aggression surfaces due to State support against protesting Hindus who unfortunately vote as a disparate group and the myopic "secular" politician fully exploits it.

The more useless you are the higher the position you attain in this political dispensation. Patil Saab, don't worry. You are in the right Party and you have the right temperament to be invaluable to the Party that assesses your complete worthlessness to be of the highest value for it. Keep changing your clothes thrice a day and utter the same blah-blahs after each terrorist attack and you will survive for showing concern for the terrorists and utter disdain for the victims, even though you cannot win an election even where your imaginary vote-bank is there in sizable numbers.

The Congress, NCP combine that rules in Maharashtra should be taught a lesson in other parts of the country just as the BJP for singing the same tune as this goon Raj Thakre. The fact is that like Calcutta the local populace of Mumbai are mainly workers and labourers whereas the majority of the wealth creators are all from outside these States. This rascal Raj Thakre knows that none of these wealth creators will ever leave Maharashtra due to their bread and butter sources being there. So a thug like him will continue to extract money from them whilst by raising the hype of Maratha pride he can fool the Marathis into voting for him. Like his Uncle's now discarded Hindutva, fooling the Hindus in the past, Raj too is out to fool the Marathi.

13. When uniform is made compulsory for school children, why there is no Uniform Civil Code for citizens as enshrined in the Indian Constitution?
14. In what way, J&K is different from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu or Uttar Pradesh, to have the separatist Article 370?

ON CONVERSIONS TO “CHURCHIANITY”.

All Christians do not convert others. In India this has become a big money making racket with some greedy NGOs sucking money out of the wealthy but guilt ridden Christians abroad by showing them dismal pictures of poor people living in dire straits in India. In India it is a privilege to be labeled as a minority, so much so that even many Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists today aggressively demand this status despite enjoying the reservations policy which to begin with was introduced for the uplift of so-called “untouchables” in Hindu society! Due to this same paying separatist tendency for being counted out of Hindu society, Swami Vivekananda had said that when we convert a Hindu to another religion we not only have a Hindu less but have an enemy more.

It is known that Christ himself had spent many years in Ladakh region of India learning from great masters of the East till he went back to Galilee/Jerusalem to preach his gospel when he was 30 years old. There is a big gap in Jesus’ life before this till he reappears at this period. Christ was such a benign and humble person yet his many Churches today are carrying out atrocities in his name. Here is one explanation. There is a story behind the immersion of Ganesha. It is said that Mata Parvati wanted to go her maike (parents’ house). Lord Shiva allowed her to visit her parents. Just after one day after allowing Mata Parvati to visit her home, Lord Shiva sent Ganesha to bring her back to Kailash. On the day before the Ganesh Chaturthi, Mata Parvati comes to her parent's home to visit Her parents. The immersion of Ganesha is the sending back of Mother Parvati and Lord Ganesha to Kailash (their original home where Lord Shiva, Ganesh's father stays) as there is a route from Patala (bottom of the sea) to Kailash which denotes that the world is round.

One will have to understand that Hinduism is full of symbolism which only depicts a deeper meaning where every thing should not be taken literally as it is not a revealed religion like Islam. The ultimate Hindu belief lies in the Brahman, nirgun and nirakar, or something that is formless and invisible which is similar to the concept of Allah whose image or being cannot even be imagined.

But as Hinduism is very ancient and most people could not grasp the concept of a formless God, such images were necessary to make it easier for them to concentrate on a particular form of god. That is why Ganesh murtees (statues) or Durga Pratimas (statues) made of earth are immersed in rivers or seas after puja (worship) as they are symbols which like all creation must one day go back to where they all came from.

But the Pratimas made of stone or wood etc., and regularly worshiped in temples are not immersed as they are symbols of the permanent nature of the gods who represent various facets of the Supreme or Brahman (not to be confused with the god Brahma-the creator). In fact, as Hindus have 330 million gods and goddesses to take care of each and every need of theirs exclusively by a single god, they think that they are that many times luckier than those having only one god which makes them rather complacent about their religion.

If there were no repeated attacks on the Hindu body by these external ideologies (which are not Indic in their origins) there would have been no antibodies to begin with. After all, how old are these entities like VHP or Bajrang Dal etc.? Even the worm turns some day as there are limits to tolerating repeated assaults on your existence and that too in your own country. Therefore, the Saffronisation of the core Indian populace should continue without any hindrance despite the hurdles put up by vote bank seeking political parties or the bought out media, as being conducted by the apolitical Amarnath land transfer movement so far. Some right wing Christian lobbies are baying for Narendra Modi’s blood and demanding that his US Visa be revoked. It is indeed a funny situation. How can you revoke someone’s Visa when he has not even applied for it? It is like daring a person to apply for a Visa so that it may be perversely denied to him! Modi is an elected Chief Minister of one of India’s most prosperous States and denying him a Visa is a slap on the face of the Prime Minister who is of the firm belief that George Bush is a personal friend. It also poorly reflects on the effete policy of an ineffective Foreign Minister who has not even bothered to lodge an official protest. What can you say about a Prime Minister or a foreign policy that sees a Sonia Gandhi being invited by China to attend the Beijing Olympics instead of the Prime Minister?No wonder, we get no respect anywhere, even Bangladesh or Nepal.

With a Christian lobbyist like Republican George “Wicked” Bush as US President, Modi's Visa to the US was revoked not because of the riots as the Muslims of the world intensely hate the US and Bush's America detest Muslims but because Modi has legally banned conversions in Gujarat that badly hits the Christian Right that is Bush’s constituency.

In order to remain relevant and rich, the richest holy man on earth the Pope needs Christians who now come from the third world like India where Hindus are in the majority and are easy targets as the powerful amongst Hindus wish to destroy Hinduism by carrying on the Pope's agenda. That is why today we have an Italian Roman Catholic as our de facto Prime Minister. They refuse to accept that if you don't have Hindus you can't have Hinduism. There is no need to sympathise with these “conversionaries” who are wrongly called missionaries as their single goal is to Christianise the whole world for their benefit just like the Islamic agenda of Dar-ul-Islam for inducing a single religion world. Waliullah, who was the Pesh Imam (prayer leader of a mosque) of a Phulpur mosque at the time of his arrest in April 2006 along with 5 others were charged under Section 302 (murder), 307, 324, and 326 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3/4/5 of the Explosive Substances Act for their role in the twin blasts at Varanasi in March 2006 that killed 28 innocent people. Waliullah, who had studied at the Saudi funded world renowned Islamic seminary at Deoband in Uttar Pradesh and was admittedly, motivated by the taped discourses of Jaish-e-Muhammad chief Maulana (Islamic holy man) Masood Azhar, the terrorist who India had to free in exchange for the release of the hijacked Airbus 300 passenger aircraft, had admitted to his interrogators that he had arranged shelter for the Bangladeshi bombers just across his Phulpur home ahead of the blasts who had returned to their homes in Bangladesh soon after their mission was over. “It was in Bangladesh that the local HUJI chief had nominated me as area commander of the organisation for Uttar Pradesh,” Walliulah told the police.

Islam it is claimed by its adherents and its apologists to be a religion of peace. In that case how is it that its “holy men” who are well versed in all facets of their religion, are involved in such heinous crimes of murder of innocent human beings unless they are convinced that their religion permits them to indulge in such inhuman crimes? The terrorist problem can be very easily solved anywhere in India. The only ingredient required is ZERO TOLERANCE for terrorists arising out of a focused POLITICAL WILL to finish terrorism once and for all. But are our myopic vote bank appeasing politicians bothered? The reason why India has the greatest number of casualties through terror in the world is due to its being a SOFT State or a country that has no political will to combat this menace for vote bank consideration. As Modi has the requisite attitude to combat it he is called communal as he is markedly different than the appeasers else where like Lalu Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav and our homegrown Marxists who are even against a ban on the Indian terrorist organisation SIMI or Students’ Islamic Movement of India.

Anyone uninitiated to Indian realities would be quite bewildered to note an association of terrorism with either students or even a religion of peace like Islam. But then, there it is. More truthfully now the façade has been thrown aside as these violence junkies now call themselves the Indian Mujahideen which negates what Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had very emphatically stated sometime back that he was proud to say that no Indian Muslim was a terrorist even though the SIMI has been in existence for few decades.

A ZERO TOLERANCE begins with having full knowledge of sleeper cells of Indian sympathizers of the terrorists through constant surveillance and good police work on the ground. Without local logistical support a terrorist network funded and operationalised by a foreign country like Pakistan cannot operate inside a vast country like India. But since it involves keeping watch on a particular community from which all terrorists come, our human rights wallahs will start screaming that secularism is in danger whilst secular politicos will let the blood letting continue to appease their vote bank even at the cost of jeopardizing the country's security. That is another bitter Indian reality as well.

The Gujarat police know that Modi will back them to the hilt to catch the culprits as he is not bothered what names other motivated politicians call him. Modi also knows that if he fails then the same secularists who are otherwise sympathizers of the terrorists' helpers who are their vote banks, will accuse him of failure to nab the culprits. Only a very committed and strong nationalist politician can take on this challenge whilst spineless politicos will continue to allow innocent Indians to be killed by terrorists as long as it sustains their vote bank. Conversely, that is why no terrorist attack ever takes place in Israel and in USA after 9/11 because they are paranoid about their security and are on constant overdrive against terrorists.

Or Looking at it from another perspective, would the USA and Israel have handled a similar situation in their country the way India has been handling the problem? If not, why not? Why would they have handled it differently or why does India handle it the way it does? Even if India were to possess all the advanced technological equipments it would not use them to effectively curb such activities as it lacks the political will to stop the mayhem in the first place.

Some Muslims or their misguided sympathizers periodically raise the bogey of “What has the BJP done for Indian Muslims?” Well, few of these are:

1. BJP did not withdraw Muslim right to have 4 wives at a time. BJP did not withdraw Haj subsidy but even increased it.
2. BJP did not introduce the Shariat law of a Muslim thief's hands being cut off after being found guilty of stealing or stoning to death any Muslim found guilty of adultery.
3. BJP did not remove the right of Muslim men to instantly divorce their wives by saying talaq, talaq, talaq.
4. BJP did not remove the divisive Art 370 from Kashmir or introduce the Uniform Civil Code as enshrined in the Constitution of India.
5. The BJP did not do away with the State funding of madrassahs and payment of Imams salaries even though sedition is a part of the curriculum of many of these religious hate schools.

Imagine the tremendous loss to the Muslims' general wellbeing and health if the status quo of these rights were tampered with by the BJP. The problem is that when parents spoil a child by giving it any and everything it demands it gets into the bad habit of constantly being appeased or mollycoddled and the moment even a small scolding is given to it or something is not given to it for its own good, the spoilt brat throws a tantrum and begins to scream, throws a fit and rolls on the ground in order to emotionally blackmail the parents till they buckle under pressure and give in. The child being small and ignorant does not know what is good or bad for itself and if irresponsible parents who are too busy with their own enjoyments want to keep the child silent by constantly giving it what it thinks it wants, a time comes when the child grows up and blames its parents for all its maladjustment problems in society and conveniently overlooks that its parents were constantly appeasing it for buying family peace at any cost despite knowing fully well the bad consequences at a later date. The same blunder can and are being committed in regard to affected communities in India which prevents them from seamlessly joining the mainstream that results in ugly consequences not only for the society at large but also the maladjusted group concerned as well.

Muslims had recently protested when these politicians with such inclinations had claimed that the Indian Muslims were against India's nuclear deal with the US. They clearly stating that they were for anything that was good for India and that electrical power was religion neutral. The community should become more vocal and expose these charlatans who are foisting anti-national sentiments on their behalf in order to keep them isolated and away from joining the mainstream with the wild hope that the so-called Muslim block votes can be diverted to their election symbols on election day, even though time and again the Indian Muslims have shown that they do not vote as a block like an unthinking herd. If it was not so, then Syed Ahmed Bukhari of Delhi’s Jama Masjid would have been the most powerful Muslim politician in India today.

The ball can be set rolling by issuing open charge sheets to Lalu and Mulayam regarding their love and apologies expressed for SIMI all these years. That and the most important of all- sack Shivraj Patil, India’s most incompetent Home Minister ever that includes the late Giani Zail Singh the original moron in Indian politics. With Patil gone, at least fifty percent of our travails would be over on the law and order front.

A few tears seem to be shed for Pervez Musharraf in India today once he has now decided to step down for saving his skin after some of the usual false bravado of the Pakistani commando has failed. Every Indian should have only one goal and that is what is good for India must always prevail. Mush was NOT good for India. Whether he was good for Pakistan or not is no concern of Indians. The single Nehru mantra of appeasement as a solution for all such problems has never worked for the last 60 years and nor will it work in the next 60 years.

Yet, the BJP victimized poor Bangaru Lakshman for being caught on camera in a sting operation for taking a bundle of currency notes when Naik’s crime was far worse.

If Islamic rule were to bring happiness and prosperity as claimed, then why are Pakistan and Bangladesh which were both a part of undivided India not so long ago in such shambles in every respect? Those Indian born Muslims I know who were once admirers of Pakistan had become disillusioned within 15 days of their short visit to that country for meeting their relatives. They had returned to become patriotic Indians whose convictions cannot be shaken by any mullah or religious rhetoric any more. We should sponsor such trips for the fanatics with wooly ideas to find out for themselves the realities of the matter across the border. Another fall out of this for the West is that the Russians will once again challenge its hegemony with a well fortified oil bolstered economy. The tragedy that is eluding many of us is that:

With almost all Parties badly wanting the sobriquet of “Secular” which in India is the synonym for “Appeaser”, the Muslim vote if at all it operates as a monolith is bound to get fragmented with so many suitors out to placate them. The myth of “Secularism” was exploded by the BJP when Advani’s Ram Rath hit the road to put together its Hindu Unity agenda by leaving all the other pseudo-secular political parties to run after the so-called consolidated Muslim vote. But in India running after the Hindu vote as compared to running after the Muslim vote is unacceptable to the Left leaning media as well as the intelligentsia as any effort to unite the fragmented Hindus is dubbed “communal” whereas wooing the myth of an existing unified Muslim opinion is “secular” which requires no efforts to create it. The assumed Muslim unity is deemed to be a virtue but any effort to transmit this virtue to Hindus is a vice. So large is the space occupied in the Indian polity by this counterfeit thesis that today it has even made the BJP jittery as to what political line it should adopt not only for garnering a slice of the Muslim vote but possibly overhaul its media fashioned illiberal image for greater acceptance among the disjointed Hindus themselves.

4. The Communists are against the nuclear deal because it will harm China's interests vis-à-vis a resurgent India which is the last thing that these traitors want. One may ask why should an Indian political party volunteer to become a stooge of a foreign power. Advani did the right thing by showing his guts to call Jinnah a secular person in Pakistan itself because Pakistan that accepts Jinnah as the father of the nation is anything but secular. Jinnah was more secular than Nehru and all Congressmen combined as they introduced "minorityism" into the Indian polity for garnering the block Muslim vote. Pakistan is Islamic and Islam and secularism are anathema to each other. For knowing the truth one has to read the Koran and the Hadiths for himself instead of believing what the media or politicians are dishing out as they are apologists for Islam.

The RSS fell into the trap laid by the raucous and predisposed media by blindly believing it when it critisised Advani for calling Jinnah secular. The Sangh should have supported his move for increasing the existing cleavage in Pakistani society where there are thousands of sensible and rational citizens still around who believe in Jinnah’s secular views. Advani should know as he is from Sindh where the Jiye Sindh movement was once quite rife.

It is an appeasing Gandhi who had laid the foundation stone of the two nation theory by his Khilafat movement after Kamal Attturk of Turkey had abolished the Caliphate in the 1920s. The RSS is known for its body building, drills and marches but not for its intellect, as free thinking acts as a barrier to regimentation that such organisations strongly inculcate. It was introduced by the British as the Haj Act in order to keep the Hindus and Muslims divided so that it made things easier for them to rule. The Congress Party who are the surrogates of the British did not change many things that the British had introduced including many anti-people laws. Then why should Muslims depend on the annual Haj subsidy funded by Kafirs as very little number of Muslims pay taxes in India? The religion commands that a pious Muslim should try and make the pilgrimage once in a life time with his own earnings. Otherwise, the Wahabi Saudis can easily fund their Haj or Umras from the Zakat (compulsory alms) funds from where they fund their fundamentalism through the Madrassahs. With the price of crude oil hitting $140 a barrel, can you imagine the money the oil rich Muslim countries must be making? Just envision the huge disposable Zakat funds at their disposal which they can easily and gladly give you?

If you are so self-reliant with your Arab funded activities, why are the salaries of your Imams paid for by the government of India funded by taxes collected from Kafirs? Why not build all those huge Haj houses with your self-reliant money and ask the government to divert the huge funds thus saved to some useful activities like building hospitals and health clinics or schools?

If you claim to be not insecure why not go for the Uniform Civil Code as the Indian Constitution demands? In your Personal Laws (Marriage/Talaq/Adoption etc.) it is conveniently the Shariat. When it comes to punishing a thief it is the Indian Penal Code. Why? Despite 57 Islamic countries, the OIC and over 1.3 billion Muslims walking on this Earth, how much longer are you going to convince yourselves that Islam is forever Khatre Mey Hai (In danger)? Will a Momin (faithful) answer these questions please for our enlightenment? Just as we have the cartel called OPEC or Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, we need to have a cartel of the OPCC or the Organisation of Petroleum Consuming Countries. Thereafter, each country should take some measures to curb the consumption of Petrol and Diesel however small. It could be rationing a fixed quantity per vehicle on a per day basis, run vehicles on alternate days with odd and even registration number plates, encourage pool car systems, make ethanol dosage in fuels compulsory and hike it wherever it is already working. Don't believe in the US propaganda that this will lead to food shortage as America makes ethanol out of corn whilst mostly others make it out of sugarcane and sugar is not food but a sweetening agent.

Today's crisis had been coming for many years when experts have been warning us that whilst consumption of oil was going up the proportionate increase in production of oil was not taking place at all. With cheap oil our usage habits have become bad and wasteful which continues even now. Resistance to change is a global phenomenon but we have to bite the bullet or face worse days ahead. China being a totalitarian regime can start rationing immediately whilst India can go in for Demand Management which envisages release of Petrol and Diesel to petrol pumps as per their historical performance over the same period in the previous year. US citizens can go for voluntary cuts on their own extravagance. These measures of the OPCC nations will yield immediate short-term gains whilst they try to step up their own oil or alternative fuel production for gains over the long term.

Instead of OPEC making us dance as we are now doing soon the OPCC can make the OPEC dance for a change as they keep reminding us that the present spike in prices is solely demand driven mainly from China and India. It could even break OPEC’s fragile unity as they will scramble to increase sales in a falling market.

There are many hidden elements included in the price of Indian petroleum which are decades old. Like the Gulf surcharge which was included and never withdrawn during the Gulf War!! All taxes or levies and cost input elements are ad-valorem instead of based on specific amounts so that when one element goes up all the others also go up on the percentile basis. Another daylight robbery is the Kerosene scene. Out of the 10 million metric tones (mmt) yearly subsidized "poor mans'" fuel, 7 mmt is given to city based ration card holders. How many people do you personally know living in cities that use Kerosene for cooking or lighting purposes? They all use the highly subsidized LPG for cooking and electricity for lighting. Yet the entire quantity 7 mmt of Kerosene is lifted by PDS (public distribution system-ration shops) dealers every week/month. Where does it all go? It sells for around Rs. 9 per liter when it actually costs the country around Rs.37 to import, the balance being subsidized at our cost. It goes straight into the storage tanks of petrol pumps to mix with petrol/diesel that you and I buy for above Rs. 50 & 40 per liter. See the margin of profit? Is it all pocketed by the Oil company dealers with nothing going to those who have kept up this robbery through successive governments?

Go to any village and see at what price Kerosene sells. It is sold in the black market and in 650 ml bottles passed off as 1 liter if at all it is available after its diversion to the petrol pumps. Both Kerosene and LPG subsidy amounts are more than the price at which they are sold today. 60 percent of petrol is used by Govt. departments and their families. "Free" electricity for "poor" farmers is meant for rich MPs and Ministers or the Kulak lobby who have also kept agriculture income out of the purview of income tax for their sole benefit. How many "poor" farmers can afford to buy deep tube wells or pump sets that are used for irrigating large tracts of land? The same lobby benefits from the fertilizer subsidy also. Get the picture? But every political party promises this wasteful expenditure because the moment any party in power that does not implement this, all the others in the opposition begin to criticize this move as “anti-farmer” which also gets a lot of free media attention and paints a negative picture of that party and turns them into villains for being against the “poor farmer” which Deve Gowda keeps calling himself!

7. And the Bengalis being intelligent and independent thinkers are too difficult for the likes of Advani and Vajpayee to handle. that is why they have packed the West Bengal BJP with imbeciles who will carry out their low standard biddings without any dissent or argument.
8. Vajpayee as PM on a visit to Calcutta in a well publicized act publicly touched the feet of Mamata's mother giving the message to all that Mamata is the saviour of the BJP in WB and that the Party should play second fiddle to her.
9. Today the BJP is untouchable to her as she wants the Muslim vote. She always did but the expediency of allying with the BJP at the Centre was too hard to resist at that time. Can a Congress person ever become truly secular? Once a pseudo-secular, always a pseudo-secular is something that the expediency driven Vajpayee and Advani do not wish us to believe.
10. But all Bengalis are neither fools nor Marxists. How can a people who made the most number of supreme sacrifices during the freedom struggle suddenly become anti-nationalists in 30 years by voting for the Commies ever since 1977? The BJP has always concentrated in the Hindi belt for greater numbers of MPs in Parliament and also because the herd instinct amongst the voters from these regions is very strong.

The Left's calculations are quite simple. They know that they are destined to be bit players in India. Unlike the BJP that had worked to come to power at any cost by diluting its ideology and pushing aside the loyal but inconvenient conscience keepers for accommodating deserters from other parties with the win ability factor, the Left has a solid vote bank even if it restricts them to 50 to 60 MPs in the Lok Sabha. The Left firmly believes that a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush. It knows that its committed voters will blindly vote for it no matter what happens or does not happen. These blinkered voters are those who do not think beyond their material interests via higher wages with little work commitment guaranteed by the Left Trade Unions. In exchange they gladly keep their own intelligence and the country's larger interests in limbo and blindly follow the Party line in order to keep them relevant in Indian politics for leveraging their vested interests.

In a coalition government like the UPA it is the Left tail that wags the Congress dog. Anti-BJP rhetoric is to ensure that market economy does not get established in India that will effectively kill the Left's legacy of all pay and no work. As confident Indians become prosperous and educated the Left will lose its relevance and its voters. They have a long term vested interest in backwardness, anti-Americanism and imaginary Muslim anxieties which they keep regularly fanning. Recall the chasing out of Dr. Taslima Nasreen the Bengali author from Calcutta and later India in order to please a coterie of Mullahs who gather the block votes for the CPI (M). The Left does not have any inroads into the SC/ST vote banks as most of the Left's top leaders have been traditionally high caste and that SC/STs have their own rock solid vested leadership.

In the 3 States they have a strong presence; their chief rival is the Congress. General elections bound they now wish to once more occupy the opposition space after facing severe erosion in their credibility post the 4 year cohabitation with the Congress. This UPA charade has been going on for too long and people are fed up with non-governance. The net result of keeping the BJP out of power for 4 years has only resulted in the BJP’s chances of getting back with a larger mandate more plausible, unless the “Congress culture” of internal squabbling for election tickets voluntarily imbibed by the BJP since it became a polluted mass-based Party derails their ultimate plans.

That the BJP is not too chary of US concerns on India’s independent nuclear forays has been proved in Pokharan 2 and the resultant US sanctions which India easily weathered that finally broke the “Panhandlers” image of India in American eyes. The BJP only wanted the clause of India’s right to conduct tests to be factored into the ongoing Indo-US Treaty .The Congress refused to bite the bullet as taking the BJP’s help to survive a no-confidence motion after the Left’s withdrawal was too high a price to pay. The BJP wanted the Treaty to go through as unlike the Left it has no US allergy. It therefore, made no other concessions or restrictions to its arch rival to bail it out of the jam of their own creation with the anti-national Left’s support. The BJP either believes they have an alternative plan of self-reliant nuclear policy or that the US will not give up the Indo-US partnership even after Bush has exited the White House. If by populism one means whatever the majority wants is desirable even if it hurts India then we must grin and bear it as this is what Democracy is all about!

Khan, the father of the Islamic Bomb, by stealing nuclear technology and smuggling in plans, centrifuges, equipments & components from the West that includes countries in Europe and the USA but it also sold the know how to countries like Iran, N.Korea, Libya in collaboration with China, which are all against American interests and with American connivance and even funds, through the consent of several US Presidents. They all knew about it through reports from CIA and other intelligence agencies but not only kept covering up for Pakistan through blatant lies, but also funded Pakistan with the excuse that unless Pakistan had the US funds they would be tempted to sell their nuclear technology to rogue nations who were against the US!!

Ofcourse these funds were liberally used by Khan for his bomb in his facility at Kahuta, which Israel wanted to bomb out of existence as it did of the Iraqi one, but was prevented from doing so by the US. By the same analogy, any country that the US deems its "friend" can get away with blue murder. Now that US is cosying up to India in preference over Pakistan in order to contain the next Evil Empire that is China, India should take this advantage and sign on and later flout all the undertakings to which the US will gladly close its eyes to as it did in the case with Pakistan. This is precisely why Indian Left is against the deal. Even today China and Israel flout all norms and get away so why can't India? The Left do not want anything should be done that will hurt China’s interests. Talk of Trojan Horses! That is why Tarun got that standing ovation at the IIMC convention-for abusing India and what it stands for. Those who were clapping must have been thinking "What a fool this guy is. The Left's protests will grow louder as elections approach as they know what happened to the CPI when their S.A.Dange supported Indira Gandhi's Emergency.

The CPI became irrelevant and is today a non-entity in Indian politics and will remain so for all time to come no matter what Raja and Bardhan may think of themselves. An identical fate awaits the CPM today after their present cohabitation with the other Mrs. Gandhi. Mamata Banerjee actually calls the CPM the “B” team of the Congress. Whilst all this is immensely good for India, the fear that lurks is that the BJP which has seen high erosion of discipline after its opportunistic shift, for coming to power at the Centre, from a cadre based one to a mass based party may become an infighting and complacent entity like the Congress Party. This was ostensibly done as the thesis propounded by the then BJP leadership found that the BJP was not growing as fast as the Congress was becoming irrelevant all over India. The BJP was therefore clearly in a hurry to fill the vacuum.

After burying its Jan Sangh past, the BJP opened the floodgates to allow filthy waters to flow in and dilute its strong ideological base with the sole intention for Central rule with Vajpayee as Prime Minister. Those turncoats who had to be accommodated with tickets from other disparate outfits resulted in old and loyal stalwarts of the Jan Sangh being eased out of the Party into oblivion. That’s where the BJP’s lost out and its troubles began. Today, as the elections near, the cracks in the papered over “disciplined” Party will begin to show up as in the past. The only way this can be reduced is through collective leadership after bringing back those early sidelined stalwarts who are still loyal into eminent positions in the Party’s hierarchy. Otherwise the BJP will be the flip side of the coin known as the Congress. But then that was not the vision that was projected by the founders of the Sangh’s ideology by which the senior leaders of the BJP still swear by but conveniently ignore. Guys like Lalu & Mulayam when they were CMs even refused to ban SIMI when the Centre had banned them thus conveying the impression as if the Indian Muslims were all sympathizers of SIMI and their fountainhead Pakistan's ISI & al Qaeda. Such is their desperation for their vote bank! And yet many of us spread the word that these Deshdrohis are true secularists.

Can you imagine what would have happened to us if the RSS, cancer specialist Dr. Praveen Togadia of VHP, Narendra Modi, Ashok Singhal or Uma Bharati who have a mass appeal and media pull across the country were not there to safe guard our interests? The Partition happened because such leaders were not there at that time in the 1940s. The proof of that lies with the fact of the BJP's rise to power to rule at the Centre for 6 years. It is the millions of patriotic & right thinking Indians who had voted for and put them there. BJP could not do much as per their own manifesto as they had hoped because of the shortfall as a single majority and had to depend on several pseudo-secularists. Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari should put his case where his mouth is if he is serious about the charges he has raised against the Gujarat Chief Minister. Modi didn't say he was going to stop paying Gujarat State's taxes to the Centre as falsely made out by the Congress and their sympathetic (pathetic) media. What he was trying to emphasize was that Gujarat was making a very high contribution to the Central exchequer and in return getting peanuts from the Centre.

In comparison, West Bengal and Kerala like other States were getting more doles from the Centre than what they are contributing to the national fund, obviously at the cost of States like Gujarat and Maharashtra. Modi was reminding them not to forget how much Gujarat was contributing due to the resurgent economy of the State. The guys who should be charged for sedition are the Commies who are the dedicated stooges of an anti-India China within the Indian polity, for making open statements that India should not sign the Nuke pact with the USA as it is against the interests of China!! Manish Tiwary dare not speak against these Indian flunkeys of China as his party's survival and his spokesmanship depends on these traitors. The two-faced Commies without any accountability are backseat driving this confused and self-destructive govt. to their inevitable death and at the same time playing the role of the main opposition party as insurance for the next elections as they are opposed to each other in the States of West Bengal, Tipura and Kerala. This party has no principles or ideology save that of making unaccountable money for their next few generations. They always want a Nehru/Gandhi from this particular lineage as, 1. The Congress's huge funds are in the hands of the single family which is needed to fight elections and keep the thousands of its brigands employed, 2. All the other leaders hate each other's guts to allow anyone else to become PM, eg, Arjun Singh hates Pranab Mukherjee, Pranab Mukherjee hates Priya Ranjan Dasmunshi, no Congressman likes P. Chidambaram or trusts Kapra Mantri Shankarsinh Vagela.3. This family thus alone provides the patchy consensus by default. Thats why no one talks of Maneka or Varun Gandhi who are of the same but purer bloodline (being fully Indian with no liability like Italian or other foreign blood flowing in their veins) because they don't have the Congress's cashbox.

One may even win the elections with a Rahul Gandhi projected as PM. But if he does become the PM(God forbid) and he represents 1.3 billion Indians abroad, how is he going to tackle all the tough and seasoned politicians of other countries? He will be torn to pieces by them and the international media at every press conference he faces like his father who may have been good looking but was just another average Indian Airlines pilot. Rahul only knows how to play football. In that case Baichung Bhutia should make a better PM. Politics and a now resurgent India's interests are not child's play and we citizens should be very careful whom we elect. A moron like Kareena Kapoor finds Rahul Gandhi extremely dateable, which puts him in the same league as Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Can you imagine what will happen to India if any of these two Nautankis become our PM? Please let us be serious when it comes to choosing our Prime Minister at this crucial stage of our progressing nation. Actually the Holy Book talks about women being modestly dressed without any vulgar exposure of her body. It does not say anything about covering the face or anything like that. No Naqab or Burqa which have all been cooked up by insecure men who are scared of women like the Taliban. In fact this dress code of being modestly covered should be adhered to by all women irrespective of religious affinity as no decent or dignified community would like its women to be dressed in a vulgar fashion like some of our women in the show business and modeling world are which is blindly copied by the uncultured and those with poor family backgrounds who consider the vapid film stars and vacuous models to be their ideals.

The traditionally sari or salwar kameez are perfect dresses for women. If only the moderate Muslims who are in the majority could pick up the courage to defy their self-appointed moral guardians-the mullahs and throw away the stifling and unhealthy Burqa . Just one or two Shabana Azmis,Javed Akhtars, Dr.Taslima Nasreens or Teesta Setalvads are not enough. During a student exchange programme when some young girls had come to India from Pakistan recently, they were shocked to see more Burqas on the streets of Delhi than they get to see in Karachi. Come on the vast majority, please stand up and be counted. We have millions of liberal Muslims in India alone who can lead Muslim opinion the world over.
